“We had a beautiful dinner here. As a family of four with one school-age child and one toddler, we felt very welcome and we all thoroughly enjoyed the special views of the falls. We made our reservation online in advance, which was for 5:30 on a Saturday evening in March. Upon arrival we were very pleased to have our parking ticket validated ($35 value) and to be seated right by the window with a spectacular view. Since it took about 2 hours to enjoy all aspects of the 3-course meal, we were still there at 7:30pm when the lights came on to illuminate the falls.Our two servers were named Michelle and Cindy, both of whom were extremely efficient and helpful. They made sure our whole family was taken care of. For example, we were given a high chair for our youngest, able to order our kids' meals right away to get them eating first, kids' drinks were served in cups with lids, extra napkins without asking, etc. Michelle offered some great guidance on menu choices. We chose the prix fixe menu for both adults, and every dish was delightful. The arancini and samosa appetizers were each a great mix of different textures and fresh flavours. The lamb shank and pork main dishes were unique in flavour and generous in portion. I found the combination of roasted pork and sausage with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes was delicious, though the sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. For dessert we had a triple chocolate mousse, which was very rich, and an apple caramel cheesecake, also rich and quite sweet. Honestly we were full and a few sweet bites was enough to finish a really lovely meal.We felt the value for money was good. The 3-course meal was $65 per person, non-alcoholic drinks were $5, and kids meals with drink included were $12-$16 each, plus $5 per kid dessert. Thanks to the wonderful service and the special setting of this restaurant, it was worth it. Very memorable and enjoyable!Parking: Park in the gated Niagara Parks lot across the street, then be sure to bring your parking ticket in with you to be validated at the desk when you appear for your reservation. Keep the validated ticket with you to exit the gated lot for free ($35 value).Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and family friendly.“
“We ended up at Turtle Jacks by chance last night and are so happy we did. Our server, Claudia, was super attentive and lovely. She brought our kids some veggie snacks to nibble on while they waited for their food, which was such a lovely touch. The kids devoured their meals (mini burgers, wings, pizza, salad). I had the Nashville chicken and Caesar salad and loved both… though I wished it was a little spicier so I requested some hot sauce and they had fave - Cholula - so I was a happy camper. Friends had the seafood pasta and steak and both finished their plates as well. I was expecting run of the mill chain food but this was quality food with a nice ambiance. Only complaint was having to walk out and through the hotel lobby to get to a washroom.Parking: Parking was free for restaurant patrons! We walked over but saw signs.Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids menu and provided veggies and dip to keep the kids happy until their food arrived. Such a nice touch. It was late so we opted not to do dessert and they provided the kids small pouches of cookies on the house! As we were leaving, they even let the kids choose something from a treasure chest!“

“Stayed in Niagara after a show at OLG stage and went to Chucks for lunch ... Burger was excellent ... home made quality and had a cajan chicken sandwich which my wife loved ...service was great and the prices were excellent ...$11 for a cheeseburger and fries Wow! ... try and match that these days ... especially in a tourist area ...in fact it was so good we went back after 9 for cheap beer and half price appies ... all around it was a great experience“
“We were introduced to The Eager Beaver through some family members who live near by. We are always looking for new places to eat in Niagara area that are out of the tourism area.The Eager Beaver is a sports Bar style restaurant, but the food options are better than average sports barsWe ordered fish and chips, wings, Chicken and waffles.The food portions are very large.The fish was lightly breaded and fried golden, and is served with fresh cut fries and mushy peas. very authenticThe wings are nice and well prepared.The Chicken and waffles were delicious.Our server was very friendly, attentive and helpful. She was excellent.I will definitely be coming back to this place, and probably making it a regular visit.“

“Had the salmon and my friend had the stroganoff. The stroganoff was nothing to write home about as the meat was tough, sauce was bland, and the choice of having peppers in it was a bit off-putting. However the salmon was excellent with the light flavor of hollandaise, and a very good portion. It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t have the sweet potato mash and green beans with my dish that I saw in recent photos. Instead there was an under seasoned piece of broccoli and two round potatoes. Views were spectacular, and the revolving feature is what really made the whole experience. Overall, despite somewhat lackluster food, my friend and I had a great time!“

“Kitschy little restaurant shaped like a flying saucer with an alien theme. The food was so delicious! Best breakfast we had while in the area. Sausages are out of this world (couldn't help myself) The only downside is that it was super loud even though it doesn't sit many people, maybe something to do with the acoustics of a round building? Also, go early as there may be a line.“
