This place has been the deli sandwhich spot for over 30 years. Been coming here since I was a child with my father.Lovely girl at the front cash, all smiles inside. Born and raised in Toronto, I went to Katz's for all my deli cravings. Since Katz's closed down, I couldn't find another deli around. I've asked around for many years, and nobody seems to know where I can go until someone from work that lives in Pickering told me about Pancer's in Toronto.....crazy. went to Pancer's, and they didn't let me down. Was here for lunch on Friday, January 19, 2024. Soo busy. Lorne pancer was in the house!Friendly, community-based deli.We had 2 pastrami sandwiches; large portion, you might want to share? Is that cinammon I taste? This is done in house.Had coleslaw and potato salad as an addition. Coleslaw is good, potato salad needs work, maybe another mayo and some seasoning?
