I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.
Came here on a chilly fall evening for some hot soup noodles and this place hit just the spot! We got the champong (which was spicy) and seafood white champong (which was less spicy, more peppery). Both dishes were full of seafood with a flavourful soup base. Noodles were also extremely chewy and bouncy. Will definitely come back again when we are craving spicy Korean noodles!

Poong Moon is one of my FAVE restaurants for delicious Korean - Chinese foods! It’s so tasty and flavourful - I love the cream champong, the seafood champong, and the fried eggplant is SO yummy and crispy! Highly recommend!
