This is a famous Korean chain restaurant although bit small for this location. Great food quality is great and maybe because they cook in smaller batches here, it is very consistent. Smaller menu than other branches. This seems to be the best food quality of the branches in the GTA. The gamjatang is still their best deal and I recommend going with spicy.Service is polite and good. 3.5 stars for the food. 4 for the stews. 3 for the seafood pancake.They have a big menu with lots to try. I ordered the clear beef soup and my sister ordered the tofu stew. Both were pretty good and we should have stopped ordering. Then I saw they had seafood pancake. That was disappointing. Yes the portion size was MASSIVE but it was really missing umami. I didnt want to eat it because it just didnt really taste like much. That said. The portion size was enough for two people.

I've been going to Owl for many years, but first time in this Oakville location. You know the food is good, when I saw the sign driving by, I did a u-turn and went in immediately.
