“Stopped by this place around midnight, was visiting from Texas and heard they had a good poutine. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The pontine was amazing, and I love how the gravy is mushroom based, I would love to have thicker fries in a poutine, rather than the thinner cut fries they serve, but it’s still a pretty good serving. The atmosphere is very appealing for a place that’s open 24/7, would definitely come back here!“
“Cool place, great service. Benedict eggs are done to perfection. The only downside to this is they don't offer any specialty coffee (latte, espresso, macchiato etc) only regular coffee... It would have been perfect if they had it. Otherwise everything else was great. Pricing is very reasonable! Would return!“
“You can’t beat John’s for consistently great and quick meals. Have been going for years and never have been disappointed. Few restaurants these days serve liver and onions so if you want your liver fix go there. Daily soup and sandwich specials are available as well as the classic club sandwich.“
“Fantastic breakfast, always done perfectly every time we go. Run & staffed by a great group of hardworking people, friendly and welcoming. They always make sure your food is exactly the way you want it and that you have everything you need to have a pleasant and delicious experience. Cosy atmosphere with great music and lovely artwork on the walls. If you want a great breakfast every time, this place is it.Kid-friendliness: All age ranges are welcome and comfortable here, very relaxed & pleasant atmosphere“
“The food was really tasty, If you are vegan you should try 4 cheese poutine, fries and tater tots they are all the best. And along with them the chocolate milkshake , the best I have had till so far in canada.A must try place if you are in ottawa“
“Be ready to wait. This place is popular and small. So go there with that in mind! Food was great, everyone at the table was happy. We waited approximately 1h30 and didn't regret it. Classic benny was really good and well cooked. Loved the buffalo cauliflower! Would come back - but definitely better if you're a small group than a big one.“
