I know the restaurant states 2-3 small plates for a meal, but I was personally satisfied at 1. I didn't fully finish 2, but I know I would have to be really hunger for 3.Anyways, great service and great food. I assume the food is seasonal because there was no octopus offered when we went. I tried quail, beef, gnocchi, and short ribs.
An unforgettable dining experience at Play Food and Wine! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The savoury dishes were beyond exceptional, each bursting with flavor and expertly cooked. The staff's attention to detail and genuine care for our enjoyment made the evening truly special. Five stars and highly recommend this spot!!

Service was attentive yet unobstrusive with sharing plates arriving with appropriate spacing and confirmation from the table that this was going well. As usual, food was outstanding and beautifully presented. We were hosting a dear friend as they return to Australia after 5 years of living in NYC and they were delighted with the experience.
