I organized a friend's birthday at the Tavern. We found the place very beautiful, with a very pleasant view of the water. It is a very distinguished place. Drink menu quite varied and rich. But not so much for food. The place is too chic to just eat hot dogs and other snacks
Like others reviewing the Tavern by the National Art Gallery in Ottawa, this isn't the one available to review on Trip Advisor. So I'll do it as a proxy. We loved this place. The laid back vibe with a couple of pints in the autumnal warmth was just the kind of relax we needed before we headed over to the art gallery for the wonderment that that place overs : )

You only go to this place at sunset gray place for a drinkDon’t like the menu hot dogs and taco are not that goodSo go there for a drink not the food great place for date night and there is big park beside for a walkThe have a live band it could get noisy for conversationBut a must go at least once great spot for photos and to gather with friends skip the food
