Tim Hortons in Ottawa

“This Timmies is in the Ottawa Heart Institute and it's a busy place with many other options. There's a cafe too. The staff is fabulous, fast and helpful. There is lots of seating and it's pretty accessible too.Not much is gluten free but the cafe has a good breakfast menu.Only "needs improvement" the seating and overall section could be cleaned better.“

“This Tim Hortons is one of the many Tim Hortons in downtown Ottawa. It's a bit smaller but pretty efficient. It's not one of the ones that I frequent, but I did stop by recently to claim my free coffee. When the NHL are playing, Tim Hortons has a Hockey Challenge Game where you guess 3 players who you think will score a goal (you need the app). If you guess correctly 7 games in a row, you get a free coffee or tea (any size) everyday for 7 days. Well, I won, so naturally I got an extra large, lol. It's huge! I love Tim Hortons and I especially love free Tim Hortons, haha.“

“They do well trying to keep up with demand. I’m very thankful for their graciousness, when I mistakenly ordered on the app a veggie sandwich instead of chicken. They fixed it promptly with no extra charge. I wish more Tim’s were like this one.“

“Thank you Jesus for this Tim Hortons location. It is conveniently located exactly 6 minutes away via the tunnels and this is ideal when I'm in a pinch and need to guzzle down some coffee or get a sizeable bite to eat. The staff is very attentive and are cognizant of my dietary restrictions. They also are very timely with their take twelve deliveries. “This is by far the best location I’ve been to. It has great, quick service, and there is always no problems with the food, and is generally clean, and welcoming. I do notice that the donut options are slowly starting to minimize, but other than that it’s great. The coffee is also amazing, the best coffee I’ve had from a Tim Hortons. I highly recommend this location.“

“Nice Cozy Tim'sDespite its rough appearance I found the fast food establishment quite nice with quick friendly & swift service. Ordered an all-dressed bagel w/ garlic cream-cheese & coffee. “This location has the best selection out of anything nearby, and is without a doubt your best bet if you're looking for seasonal or limited-edition menu items. It does tend to have somewhat of a wait on occasion, however, which isn't helped by the rather slow service. There are generally seats available, though, and the place is in good condition especially after the recent renovations.“

“This Tim Hortons saved me during my time there. It was a central, clean, safe place to grab a hot tea, catch my bearings and map out where I was and where I was going on google maps, and get the best sandwich I had had on my entire trip on the focaccia bread. I even met a lovely lady by the name of Gonnam that gave me the best advice and guidance on places to visit and how to get there. I visited the shop about 3 times and was grateful each time.??“

“Love a Cafe Mocha and an old fashioned plain donut, at the drive through, after running errands.The staff is always accurate and also always very polite at the Innes location across from Metro.Also like their soup and the bun it comes with.“

“The order had zero issues and the coffee was definitely fresh which is awesome as sometimes some timmies just write a new time on the pot when no ones around. Only issue is I felt more like I was inconveniencing them with the tone and simple interaction I had with them at the drive-through.To note they weren't rude or anything like that, just very short and had a "take your stuff and go" kind of attitude that was a bit of a buzz kill. Overall I'd return and just hope the girl at the drive through was just having a bad day.“

However, they are frequently hampered by equipment breakdowns - whether it's the scanner, the ice capp machine, or some other piece of equipment that is needed for complete serviceBUT, the key thing you want to keep in mind when coming to this location is timing. On a school day, many of the students from Longfields-Davidson HS walk down at lunchtime and overwhelm the place for about 30 minutes. Easiest thing is to avoid this location from a little before Noon to about 12:30. Go over to the Tim's at the mall insteadThe entrance does have a power assisted door, though occasionally that has also broken. But, what would really help would be to have a curb-cut in the sidewalk near the entrance“

“I was there this morning and that was the best customer service I ever had at Tim’s and even the staff was very friendly especially the guy whose name was Gurtej and the donuts were very well made and the at every other Tim’s I always get my coffee not stirred and always have to go back there but this was the first time my coffee was made in a proper way. “Drive-thru is great for in-and-out. The staff here work hard and always serve with a smile regardless of how busy. At times, seems short of selection and understaffed...... I stop by randomly and think this is mostly due to inconsistency in peak times. The work on the O-train has sort of stalled near this location which is probably a large reason as to the inconsistencies in busy times.Seems like a great location to sit in a corner with a laptop and grab a bite to eat :)“

“This place is a rollercoaster. They get waves of new staff, because people keep leaving. Takes forever in the morning, usually one cash, open and can get really frustrating. Many mornings people lose it in the line due to the wait. I've changed this review from good to bad multiple times, I try and give them a fair shot when they are doing well.“

“Nice staff, one of the most clean Tims in Downtown. Parking spot is tricky be careful nit get tickets it is for loading zone.Parking: On the cooper side first and second parking lot are labeled for loading zone. I got ticket at Saturday after 6pm.“

“Went to see a family member in the Queensway Carlton hospital and decided to grab some donuts from Timmy's. I haven't been in the Queensway Carlton since the 90's and I think it's amazing to have a tim Hortons in a hospital. I can't really speak about it very much because I didn't buy much ( 6 donuts). They only had about 4-5 donut types available but they had cookies and timbits and whatnot. Service was fast and friendly, there were 2 people working there. It's sort of a 'kiosk/pop-up ' store so you really can't compare it to a full size Timmy's. All in all a pleasant experience.“

“These guys and gals at this Tim Horton's could not be a bunch to have working at this location. It is within a minute of a city of Ottawa waste management truck drivers, plus the regular traffic! I'm stunned I have yet to receive something other than what I had ordered or was plain unsatisfactory. 5/5 Honestly! Keep up the great work!“
