“I drove past this place and decided to try a fish & chips place near actual water. It was adorable and looked like a little fish shack.I asked about the different types of fish they had, and the lady at the counter helped me decide. She was super friendly, and the food came out very quick and very fresh.This chunk of fish was super tasty. I enjoy malt vinegar rather than tartar sauce, and the crispy fried batter soaked it right up. The chips were typical fries and also tasty with ketchup or vinegar. They offered gravy, but I declined.I'll return to this place the next time I'm in Peterborough.“

“I hate to give the Keg a five out of five review but they left me no choice. We had no reservation and they said it would be 30-40 minute wait for a table and sat us at the bar. After 10 minutes they had a table ready for us.Steaks were cooked to perfection with some veggies at the side (better than I remember). I like that they serve bread at the start, although the butter was garlic? flavour and not as nice as their regular butter. We were celebrating a birthday so they comped us a slice of cake, which is really nice gesture give the price of everything else. Probably my favourite part of the experience.My main complaint is that our water wasn’t filled quick enough. This was likely partly because we were sitting around the corner from where our server had all her tables so maybe they need to split who handles what tables better. Also their steak knives were dulllll and they weren’t real steak knives because they were non-serrated. A steak house should have serrated steak knives.“
“Our family of six had a wonderful experience at Peterborough Red Lobster on Sunday January 15. The meal was fabulous but it was our server, Riley who made it extra special. He was helpful sorting out the menu, especially for our granddaughters. I needed help with paying with my card and again he stepped in. Such a pleasant young man. We hope to be back again soon.“

“Came with a friend who recommended this place...I used to be able to get Fish and Chips this good in Toronto but sadly they are all long gone... this place is the real deal run by the grandson of the original owner... excellent perfect fresh cut fries and generous pieces of fish in a beautiful crispy batter... in house tarter sauce and coleslaw.Even the seafood chowder was perfect cant wait to go back! “I had a great experience ordering from JP’s. I went on the busiest day of their year without realizing it and decided to wait in line anyways. Totally worth the 1 hour wait as the fish was so good, their fries were crispy and hand cut, and my kid loved the popcorn shrimp. Well done!“

“Very happy with the service at The Pasta Shop! I was looking to have a beautiful basket of goodies sent to my mom and was able to connect with one of the managers to arrange this. Through a few text messages we were able to create a delicious basket which she was thrilled by upon receiving!! Living outside Ontario this meant the world to me. Always looking for new ways to surprise my family in Ptbo. From the idea to creation to delivery I was so impressed with their service. Now I only wish I were there to enjoy it with my mom.
