“First visit today. I believe the menu has changed for the better since I last checked. I had the lobster roll and caesar salad. Shared a pitcher of OG sangria with my friend. Spent my summers on the east coast, and rarely get a good lobster roll in Ontario so I was worried about it. Meal was super fast, sandwich was amazing!! It had a generous portion of chunk lobster. Just a tiny bit too much mayo for me but many probably like that. Still excellent. The bun was toasty and fresh. Salad was fresh. Loved the sangria - fresh fruit taste. Our waitress was attentive but no pressure - perfect while we made our way through the huge pitcher!! The meal was good value. Seating options were high tables or a huge booth. Felt bad taking a booth for just 2 of us but I don't find the high tables comfortable (too old!). Will be back for sure!!“

“The seats are so comfortable. The space is so comfortable.The Maple Peppercorn Burger is a 9/10. I had the taste many times in my life though. It's a taste that's always good but I need new things. The fries were unimpressive at (7/10). The server was regular & professional which is great. The seats though are so nice & the spacing of the restaurant is great. So colourful. Great TV's.“
“Best comfort food in town!!! I’ve never had a bad meal or been disappointed in One Eyed Jack’s. I’m not a fan of the big chain restaurants overall, but this and one other are pretty much the only two I like! I’m a big fan of their:* Lobster & Crab dip (I order it with all pita and not tortilla chips and it’s DELISH!!!)* Spinach & Artichoke dip (same as above- and I love that they DON’T deep fry their pita like some places do!!)* Lobster Mac & Cheese (huge portion and so much lobster!)* Seafood Pasta & Risotto: I’ve had MANY of their seafood dishes & risotto and they don’t disappoint- Seafood linguine, Blushing lobster pasta, seafood risotto and the short rib & wild mushroom risottoI think what I like best about One Eyed Jack is for someone who loves seafood like me and who isn’t a huge meat eater, they have so many delicious options! They’re consistently good, their delivery times are super reliable on Uber (might help that I live in East City? Not sure…) and anytime I’ve eaten in the restaurant, the servers are really friendly and attentive! A VERY welcome addition to the Peterborough food scene!!!“
