Had this weekly when I was in uni in St Catharines. Moved to Toronto two months ago and have been back to get the braised chicken and rice atleast 4 times. The quantity and flavour is great. One of the best braised chickens I have had.
We came back a second time on Thu 2022-12-29 for lunch at 12:30. The door was open but the interior was dark and no one was at the counter. We rang the bell and the father came out. Then he turned on the lights. They must be saving electricity. We ordered the Braised Chicken + Rice (large $14.99) for 2 people. It was freshly cooked by the father. It comes with sliced mushrooms and slice potatoes. It was tasty. The hot pot was large enough to food 2 people.

I had their braised ribs and rice which was tender and so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were great. The prices were extremely fair! I will definitely be going back to try more dishes!
