“The taste of extremely authentic Northeastern cuisine can make it famous in a certain region even in China. I have ordered both dine-in and pick-up, and there is no difference in the quality of the food. This time I will talk about this fried eggplant dish. First of all, the eggplant is cut very thin, because eggplant is a very oil-absorbing ingredient, so it will not be so greasy. Secondly, the two pieces of eggplant are placed in a "V" shape, unlike the mainstream eggplant boxes. Place them parallelly so that there is enough space to stack the meat fillings, and the structure is more stable without losing its shape.Secondly, there is no starch in the meat filling, which makes the texture of the meat filling very firm; the seasoning of the meat filling also fully brings out the aroma of the meat, which is neither salty nor bland, and the aroma is overflowing. Finally, let’s talk about the small ingredients. I initially thought this small dry ingredient was ordinary chili noodles, but after tasting it, I found that it was a seasoned small ingredient. It has a salty taste, and the chili noodles are very fragrant. There are also some other seasonings. , coupled with the eggplant itself, which is rich in oil, it can perfectly relieve the greasiness. All in all, authentic Northeastern cuisine, the style is more like that of Jilin and Heilongjiang, mainly salty and fresh, and you can remember it for a while after eating it.“
“First time trying this type of cuisine and it tasted very good. You must get the deep fried dumpling w/ peanuts as dessert. Those were so good! For those who can’t handle spice are some dishes that could be made with no spice. Service was also good and place gets busy so make sure you come early.“
“A very cute eatery. The food is delicious and there are great options for vegetarians as well. The picture is the vegetarian lunch special which was yummy and filling. Great value for money. The owners and very sweet and helpful.Vegetarian options: There was tofu and peas curry, roasted eggplant and stir-fried vegetables as three options with noodles or rice for vegetarians.“
“Haemul jjampong had a lot of seafood! The seafood taste is quite strong if you like seafood. The noodles weren't too thick which was great. I would go again and try their other menu as this one was successful. The portion is pretty big.“
“It tastes really good?, every dish is delicious, cooked just right, but the lobster meat is a bit missing, the fish meat and fish bones are very delicious, and the fried rice is a bit bland but very healthy. The service was very attentive and they even gave us sugar water. Stephanie was kind enough to pack it for us. Thank you. We will come again next time. Highly recommended.“
“The food is worth for the money. It comes with a drink which is a plus. But the BBQ tastes does confuse me a bit. It's not Chinese BBQ favour nor Taiwanese BBQ favour like other store. The portion is good. Not the best, but good for a try.“
