“Ordered for lunch via ubereats. It csme early and they even took the time to read my note to add on buttermilk biscuits to the order if it's not included. All i can say is, SO GOOD. This made my day. If your workday sucks and you need some joy in your life, order yourself some chicken tenders and buttermilk biscuits.Fyi, this is southern style chicken. So expect more grease and a 'heaviness' to the food. Not like korean fried chicken. No pickled radish to cut the 'heaviness' of the grease.I'll order again when i need some joy in my life.“
“Highly recommended Izakaya in Toronto. They offer so many kinds of skewers. None of them got me disappointed. You can choose either with salt or sauce as well as trying both of them to compare its taste! Other than the skewers, I got fried oysters and shrimp mayo. They are now my favorite bites! It’s a little bit far from downtown, but when you are in the area, you might wanna go there for your dinner.“
“Captain's Boil is always my favorite "to-go seafood," but this branch was the best of all. It was my first time at this branch because I was near some errands. I ordered clams (captain’s boil sauce) and chicken slices (garlic sauce)—big portions for both boils! They provided me with a plate, not a paper plate, which is way better than the other branches. PLUS POINTS! The only thing is, there is only one server to serve the entire restaurant maybe because its almost closing time. Regardless, the server did a very good job. She always checked on me and was very nice. I think I found my new favorite branch for CB!“
“i came past dinner time so it wasn’t busy. i ordered the bezawada chicken biryani and chana masala and both tasted so so good. the flavor is so rich and serving is big. the chicken biryani definitely can serve 2-3 pax. will come back again and try the other foods in their menu.“
“My spouse and I went this restaurant last Saturday with another couple and we had a great time! Intimate space with awesome, attentive Service! The food was brilliant! Owner stopped by multiple times to check-in with each table, which was a nice personal touch. I strongly recommend enjoying a meal and the experience of New Orleans Seafood and Steakhouse!“
“This is, by far, the best Filipino restaurant I have ever been to. Although the dishes are influenced by other cultures, the chef and his team have represented Filipino cuisine at its best. Chef Daniel's take on the Caldereta is probably the best I have ever had. Many Filipino restaurants have attempted to create their own version, but they have lost the distinct flavor that makes this dish what it is. However, Chef Daniel has managed to ensure that the flavors remain intact. The enseymada is to die for. The truffle does not overpower the flavor of the enseymada. We had their tasting menu, and it was worth every penny. Their Filipino cocktails are amazing. The location is great, and the service is friendly.Dietary restrictions: When making a reservation on Open Table, there is a section where you can add special requests, including any dietary restrictions. The restaurant typically calls to confirm the reservation either on the day of or the day before. When making a reservation on Open Table, there is a section where you can add special requests, including any dietary restrictions. “I recently celebrated a special occasion at Babushka Club, and it was an absolute delight! From the lively atmosphere to the impeccable service, every moment was filled with joy and celebration. The venue's layout allowed for seamless transitions between dancing and socializing, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The DJ's fantastic playlist and the mesmerizing dancers added an extra layer of excitement to the night.I also had the pleasure of organizing an event at Babushka Club, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The staff's professionalism and dedication made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The venue itself is visually stunning, with gorgeous decorations and ambient lighting, creating a welcoming environment for all guests.Cheers to the Babushka Club team for creating unforgettable memories!“
“This restaurant is highly recommended for fish stew. I ordered the Combo For Two (Large) Signature Golden Soup Sauerkraut Fish Stew, which came with two servings of fried rice and drinks, all for about $40. The portions are generous, and the taste is excellent. Additionally, when I visited, they were offering a discount on Sweet Soup Balls, which made for a delicious dessert option.“
“We went for a casual dinner with not much expectations. The qualify of the food is superb. The waitress was very attentive. I especially like the yellow eel and rice hot pot. The chunks of eel taste exactly like those prepared by my late mom when I was a kid. I ordered the Iberico pork steak well done. It was very juicy and not at all chewy. We also ordered breaded oyster, mixed salad and grill octopus tentacles. All are very fresh. I don’t always write review whenever I dine out but this boutiques style restaurant is such a hidden gem in Warden / Eglinton area that deserves the 5 stars“
“This is one of a select few places where you get traditional British fish & chips . The fish batter is light and crispy , fries are hand cut and well made , tasty coleslaw and tartar sauce ( although that is away from traditional ! ).The restaurant has 2 sections - the first room has the bar as well as booths and then there is the Solarium.Definitely a must visit for great fish & chips with welcoming, professional and friendly service. There is also a full bar and excellent selection of beers.Wheelchair accessibility: One of the 3 entrances (near parking lot) has a ramp“
“The food tasted amazing, we had oysters, pasta and fish. The Love Affair cocktail was great! They had a guy playing a saxophone which made the atmosphere super nice. It was my husband's b-day and they treated him with a free desert- tiramisu. The waiter William was very friendly and said the location of the restaurant will be moving to Maple soon, into a bigger space. This is great because we live just 5 min away from that new location, and we will definitely be back for more dinners once they relocate. I strongly recommend Perla, the food is amazing and the service is great!“
“second time here and the food and service are always amazing. i always get oysters here as who can pass on buck and shuck oysters, especially when they are so big and tasty. i normally get the snow crab legs with okra, corn and a side of rice. they offer a 5% discount if you pay with cash!Parking: no free parking but what do you expect, it’s toronto. there’s a nearby parking garage across the street going for $9 to park for the entire evening starting at 6pm.“
“I've come to this location over the last year, coming to understand this is a very welcoming bar and with a great atmosphere. I only come here for karaoke, but enjoy the experience of seeing the regulars and the staff. I had previously visited this location more regularly over a dozen years ago, and enjoyed it then as well. I highly recommend this place.“
“For some reason the food is not as good as the one at Richmond Hill. Atmosphere is good. The price is about 20% more than the Richmond Hill location. I guess you are paying for Yorkdale location. The menu is pretty slim for dim sum spot. I guess this place really cater to westerners or people who think chicken balls is Chinese food.“
“Food is amazing! (unless you don't like meat)I would definitely go back for the food. The service could be better, but the food makes up for it. I highly recommend the beef tongue special, if they have it. The tacos are also great and they have nice sauces!“
“I have lived in the neighbourhood for 30yrs and finally made my way over. The fish were excellent. Perfectly prepared and very tasty. And so were the rest of the dishes. One exception was the lettuce/tomatoe salad. Not a great time of year for tomatoes, but at this kind of higher-end establishment, take it off the menu if it isn't going to be great.Yes it's pricey. Prepare yourself. It's not worth complaining about.“
“Let me tell you about this kitchen that I was just walking by and stumbled upon. So, I was not hungry cause I had just eaten by my inlaws. But then, as I was passing a bus stop nearby, I smelt a smell that caught my ear, cause at this point it went past my nose, then my eyes connected to this same kitchen here.Walked in and asked what was ready-made. The young lady said that everything was 15 to 30 minutes, but she had a special macaroni pie that had just come out of the oven if I wanted to try that?I agree, and the macaroni was history.Love it.Was gonna take out but ended up digging in.Shrimp macaroni was ????I'm gonna be back again to try out something else on the menu.“
“I dined in with my family and were blown away by the amazing food. The servers were incredibly friendly, and the owner was very nice as well. We will definitely be coming back again as it truly deserves it and it is really a 5 stars restaurant. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality!“
“I was greeted by friendly staff members when I arrived then I ordered the curry crab with the meal for 3 combo. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and fresh the seafood was plus the portions were big! The curry crab flavour was spectacular and the tom yum soup base also was delicious. Customer service was excellent- everytime I asked them for something like napkins or when I dropped my utensils and needed another one they were on top of it. I can’t wait to go back again!“
“I drive past here all the time. They're hidden. Was originally gonna get pizza but then seen this! Seen a girl eating something fried. It was bbq fried. I ordered that however I got bbq jerk. It's was still good though. Definitely coming “
“What an experience walking into this little hidden gem. I am a 70's baby and I love everything vintage and this place just pulled on my heart strings with the vintage atmosphere. I had brunch with my husband and son, the service was amazing so friendly and polite. Made you feel like you were family. I am disappointed that I haven't been here more. Looking forward to making it a regular place to dine. If you are looking for a more home like place this is the place to visit.“
“This restaurant has left the best impressions! Cozy place, super delicious food and the friendly service!Staffs were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations.?We ordered a spicy cream udon and a Maze udon. Both are definitely amazing!!!!!!! Outstanding and fantastic Udon here!!!!!!! ? ?I highly recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. 10/10!!!“
“Overall good food in this small deli on Avenue Road near the intersection with Lawrence. Nice and clean location with plenty of seating. Good for takeout with decent choices on the menu. Honestly - all good, but not necessarily amazing, principally for a couple of reasons. First, the sandwiches are absolutely fresh with amply portions of fresh meat, but they were not overwhelmingly different or especially flavorful. Second, the menu is slightly more expensive - especially given the first point. As a consumer, I would pay for unique, but unfortunately Dave's was not different enough to support a premium price for the meal.“
“Hands down the best, most authentic Greek food you’ll find in the city. You can dress up or go casual, it’s a fun and loud but intimate atmosphere. Wait times can be a little longer when they don’t have their patio however, service is amazing. My favourite dishes are the gemista and George’s salad. I don’t eat lamb but apparently they are incredible! Oh and for desert, a must try is the Ekmek, it’s imported from Athens, to die for!! Bravos!Vegetarian options: Mezze, spanakopita, domaldes, saganaki, gemista, salads, veges on a pita, lots more!“
“La Vecchia is a culinary voyage. I mean from the very details of the decor to the taste of the sea through the dishes, you will feel absolutely transported. The ambiance is such a mood setting for lovers. Therefore, make sure to be accompanied by the person who makes your heart 'chavirer' for a memorable experience. The food was very delicious, being someone who adores fish with bones, our host was so efficient to recommend an option of their 'plat du jour', and I am glad I listened to her as the dish was magnificent. ?I absolutely recommend and will for sure visit again.Bon appétit et bon voyage!“
“I just dropped by casually to taste Italian food and absolutely delighted with my experience here. The flavours of the dishes were extremely exquisite. The service was impeccable, and the staff's attention to detail enhanced the overall enjoyment. I haven't had such a delightful dining experience in a long time. Kudos to the chefs and the entire team for creating a memorable culinary journey. Highly recommended!“
“Worth the hype. Thai street food.I know that King's Square tends to be quite empty (sometimes abandoned looking), but...You place your order online at their counter, show up in 15-20 minutes to a hot pizza.I ordered half veggie, half meat. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, excellent variety of veggies. Nice treat overall.“
“Tinuno rocked our taste buds with the Kamayan Feast for four! It had a yummy combo of milkfish, tilapia, BBQ pork, squid, shrimp, mussel, okra, eggplant, mango salad, and garlic rice. Each dish was expertly made, hitting the spot with amazing flavors. The cozy communal vibe and top-notch service made it even better. Tinuno serves up real Filipino goodness in a friendly setting.“
“Enjoyed dinner here. It’s so convenient to me and the service was amazing. The food was delicious. Although the main dish (mine was a sea bass) served late but it was so delicious that I’d still give a 5 star! Good things are worth the wait sometimes :)“
“Christina’s is an absolutely amazing place to eat. Tommy is such a great host and waiter. He was so helpful and accommodating. He made the experience so pleasant from beginning to end. The food was delicious and so fresh. I love eating there.Vegetarian options: There are many options availableDietary restrictions: They will accommodate allergies.“
“Amazing fresh seafood, I tried their cold water shrimp. Use rice wine or sake to warm up the shrimp, leave some extra sauce at the bottom, add an egg and some green onion leaves to scramble, pour on top stir fry ?, broccoli soaks up the sauce.I steamed salmon the next day, put a piece of dry kelp at the bottom, ginger and green onion, salmon on top, drizzle with sake and olive oil to help fish keep moist, steam 8-10 min, finish with sushi soy sauce.“
“Great place with great food and a great beer selection! The service was also top notch. Definitely gonna go back and try more things on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and a rocking horse plus a giant stuffed bear. Our 20 month old loved it.“
“Not the fanciest place, but without a doubt the best fish & chips we’ve found in Toronto. Tiny storefront with friendly staff whipped up excellent fish, the chips and coleslaw were fine and only the tartar sauce let us down a bit being factory made. We’ll be back for more — I want to try the scallops!Parking: Angle parking right in front.“
“Very surprised with the little Gem. I have always seen this place but just randomly decided to go there. Excellent Fish and chips! Batter is almost like tempura, it's so delicious. Fries are hand cut. Very cool crowd of Scottish seniors filled the house. Lots of seating, parking. They have haggis and blood sausage ( call ahead to make sure they have it) simple fish and chips or burger menu. Loved it will return!“
“Fresh Sushi at a great price. I'm surprised that this is not a busy place. They only have a limited choice of sushi sets and they are made fresh. They have a new item of hamburger with shrimp and cuttle fish pattie. The price is $5.99 and they have great taste and they even toasted the buns.“
“Had a great dinner. Teriyaki sirloin was done perfectly to my order. Vegetables were perfectly cooked, not soft and overdone and a good selection, beets, broccoli, asparagus, red peppers .. The Billy Miner pie for dessert is a mind blowing combo of Jamoca almond ide cream and chocolate and caramel. On the other side, would rather have the lights up a bit - walked in and felt like electricity was out, dark. Waiter was nice, helpful. Suggest the trainers ease off the multiple checking if everything is ok. And personally don't like the "we" as in how are we doing, what are we ordering, would we like dessert? Either stop with the attempt at over friendly gesture, like the waiter is part of the group or sit down and join us, then you can legitimately use "we."“
“I love that this place exists in Fairview mall. They have a great selection of delicious dishes to choose from and their matcha dessert is a must try.The staff was also great. They gave us suggestions on what to try which was great. I definitely would come back here to try the rest of the menu!“
“I went to a group Red Hatters event here where the restaurant worked with us for an event. The servers were on point and flowed with our activities. Great service! I really enjoyed the chicken souvlaki which was at a good temperature and moist. Lots of feta on the salad! I've come to expect events where the servers don't seem to know what is needed and where the food isn't as good as ordering in a small group. Not a problem here! I plan to come back with my family.“
“Great meal at Zee Grill. Joined friends for a night out. We shared calamari , tuna tartar , poke bowl and crab cakes. I had the scallops for a main , just delicious. Our server Rhiane was so good and he was doing the cocktails too. He was gracious and made the evening special. We will be back. 10/10 Zee “
“Food was ample and fresh out of the pan. The cost was reasonable. The service was quick, efficient, and thoughtful. We were given take out containers, including cups, for gravies. It was a delightful March break for us.Parking: Free parking is at a mall across the restaurant or street parking, but you have to pay.“
“With a menu focused on fresh oysters and an array of seafood delights, this oyster bar provides a delightful experience for seafood enthusiasts. Impeccably fresh oysters are expertly shucked and served, accompanied by attentive and knowledgeable service. The rustic charm of the ambiance adds to the experience, making it a perfect spot for those who appreciate quality seafood in a cozy setting.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options availableDietary restrictions: Very accommodatingParking: Don't worry about parking. Plenty availableKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. More of a intimate setting thoughWheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible“
“The food is really good, consistent, simple, and not fussy.Proper fish and chips. The fish never tastes off or fishy, just clean and tasty, and also moist. Chips are straight fresh fried potatoes about half a cm in thickness. If you're going to introduce any perso or kids to fish, this is what you give them. The atmosphere is diner/chippy so no frills, but about what you expect. You don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the food.My in laws introduced me to this place and have been going there for over 40 years or more, and we get take out when my MIL asks for it. Nowhere else in north Etobicoke is acceptable to her.“
“Got the creole mac and cheese and the brisket grilled cheese sandwhich. Flavour on the mac and cheese was on point, was not bland. Brisket grilled cheese was crispy and tender, one of the best grilled cheese sandwhiches I've had. The sauce on the side was good too. The truffle fries were the only bad part of this experience, needed more flavour not worth the upgrade. Vibes were dope inside. Overall 4.8/5“
“This place is a gem. It’s so rare to find good food these days because of inflation. We went twice and everything we tried was amazing. They use very good quality ingredients and their dishes are well balanced. I really liked the Hana roll and the Beef Udon soup. They must have a really good chef in the kitchen! Make sure to go to the Markham location though.“
“Food was really good, I called and placed an order as it was my first time ordering. Over the phone the customer service was amazing, friendly customer service .I received help on how to place my order online for delivery. Received my meal and the food was well prepared! Very “
“My family and I had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was just right, an our waiter was very friendly, polite and respectful. We've always celebrated special events at The Keg. Thank you for making my grandson feel special on his birthday. My first time going to The Keg was back in the summer of 2000, and I will continue to do so because I'm always happy with the food and service they provide. Thank you so much for being very kind and generous to me and my family. Donette P“
“Great of everything the only downside is the price well it’s my problem being pool not them. Lobster is very fresh I can tell by testing the sweetness of the lobster roll in the head, oyster is great I highly recommend sand dune for this season. Crab cake is good but a bit small and mid garnished that make it look not worth the price but trust me the inside is answer, it’s filled with sweet fresh crab meat.“
“Even after many years, this place still stands out as the best spot for grilled chicken, fish, shrimp, and chicken patties, potatoes, and other delicious items. The staff is friendly and efficient, and everything ordered to go is wrapped in foil, which is a really nice touch. The chicken portions are generous, and the sauce for me is always served on the side because the chicken tastes amazing as-is, no sauce needed really, but i love it with the small roasted potato. I absolutely love this place.“
“We had a great experience , and the kebabs were really tender and juicy. With lots of side dishes. The appetizer was as tasty as we thought. The only thing that could be a bit better was the stews that were not everyones favorite. All in all, I really recommend this diner .“
