“They are the Ontarian Olive Garden substitute for good italian food. But where Oive Garden hav lost the plot, east side marios have upped their game since when they years ago. Their menu provides you ample variety without confusing you too much. They have great Veg and non vegetarian options. Their all you can eat salads and soup with bread is a great option if you want to eat something light and healthy (Depending on your selection of soups and salad). They have a very good selection of drinks both alc & non-alc. The ambience isn't great but it is good. The pricing is also spot on which makes it good value for money. The staff serves with a smile. These reasons have made repeat customers of me and the fly.“

Our server was the best I think their name was cait . They were fast friendly and efficient. Providing a great experience. I ordered the Llama potion and the pigs in space ship sandwich. The food was great. The pulled pork was perfect. Usually get a lot of fat and gristle when I order that but not much at all. For the drink,I was so surprised when the audio clip played from the Emperor's New Groove when they gave him the"poison".the lights changed to red and the jar had the llama potion / Poison label on it . Drinks had dry ice for the smokey look and a red ice cube. Was amazing everything. Love the decor as well. I want to come back here and try everything on the menu including drinks. Would be even better in a bigger group . 10/10 i recommendEdit : came back a second time and even more fun , great server and amazing food :)Vegetarian options: There were alot of vegetarian options available which is nice“

“If I could rate this restaurant more than five stars I definitely would! Sadly, we now live in a place where there is no Swiss Chalet. My husband, knowing my great love of Swiss Chalet, planned a surprise 60th birthday party for me when we were visiting Toronto at this place. He had worked together with the owner, Anisur Salim, in secret without me having a clue. When I arrived, everything was so well organized, the restaurant had beautiful balloons for me and even donated a birthday cake! There were about 40 of us there that evening and the owner made sure everything went off so smoothly and the food was delicious! He was very attentive and was happy to have been working with my husband on this surprise. Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work to create such a beautiful evening for me! “For those who like a good pub with its own beer production, good food, good location and accessibility ♿️ this is definitely the right place.Granite is very well located on Avenida Egliton, close to many shops, private parking, public parking and the metro station. The brewery has an outdoor area for the spring and summer periods, a bar lounge area, and an indoor area with a fireplace.Local production takes place right there at the brewery, and you can see the boilers when you go to the washrooms.Speaking of accessibility: the house has an accessible entrance with a spring door, but without automatic activation (which makes it difficult for wheelchair users, users of crutches or walkers to enter. They have an adapted bathroom with support bars and spring doors (the bathroom door it also requires automatic opening). All the sink taps are automatic and so is the waste disposal container. They have no internal steps and the tables are spacious for aligning supports for walking.I asked the restaurant when the menu was in Braille, but the attendant couldn't answer me, so the person I was with needed my help with the order. The service at the house is very pleasant, but now at the end of the year, everything is very busy and it may take a while for you to be served at the table. They have their own store, with souvenir items and beers to take home or as a gift. The menu is wonderful and the fish and cheaps is certainly one of the best I've ever tasted. For those thinking of going with children, the restaurant has seats for older children and high chairs for younger ones, as well as a children's menu for lunch and brunch. It's really worth visiting, especially since the beers are great.Vegetarian options: They have a menu with snacks without the addition of animal products, as well as salads, pasta and portions of cheese, fries and onions.Parking: Parking lots are public parking lots on the street, where you need to park your car in a space and enter the amount of time you will stay. If it passes, you need to update the application. They also have covered parking in some buildings in the region and cost on average 15 dollars an hourKid-friendliness: They have a menu for children, both for lunch and brunch. And they have a seat adapted for older children and a high chair for babies.Wheelchair accessibility: They have adapted bathrooms with support bars, no internal or external steps, tables that accommodate wheelchairs and other items to support mobility. Doors use springs, I don't try to activate them automatically“

“I saw this pub on Google Maps and was intrigued by their wide selection of European beer, so I walked down to try it out for lunch. It is difficult to choose a beer as they have such an extensive Beer menu, but I was very happy with my choice of Belgium beer. I had the sausage & cabbage salad which is an interesting salad with chopped cabbage, tomato and cucumber with two sausages on top, but I really enjoyed it.The pub is very interesting inside although sat on their patio in the late summer sunshine. There are numerous nice rooms to try, so I will go back to experience the inner atmosphere.Service was a bit slow, and it felt like my server was too busy to even check on me, but I was by myself, and she had a number of other larger tables to serve, so I assume she was just busy.“

“Hands down the best eggs Benedict I've ever had!!!! The braised beef eggs Benedict is out of this world. The creaminess of the hollandaise sauce pairs excellently with the umami taste of the braised beef with just enough salt and bitterness in the background. Potatoes were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect amount of seasoning on them. No use for the ketchup provided. One of the few breakfast place that garnishes their Benedict plates with fruit as well. A nice little touch of color for presentation. Service was friendly. Our food came out quite quickly as well. Quite a large diner, especially considering where it's located. I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items. (First of all their other eggs Benedict options.) I can definitely see why this establishment has even there since 1940.“

“I am vegetarian, so usually most places in Canada have 1-2 options at max. But Mars has so many options! I was beyond happy. Plus it was tasty. Service was great. I will definitely go again and try different items every time for my brunch. My friends ordered items that had eggs, they said that their eggs weren't cooked enough & ended up leaving some food without eating.“

“This is a classic Toronto diner which is known for its "mile high pies" and delicious brunch. Some people consider it a little pricier, but consider it's in the heart of downtown in tourist section. The food is fresh and tasty.“

“Service is very good. Our waiter is friendly and attentive. The place is clean, and seating is comfortable. The food is okay, but not spectacular. Standard fare for Red Lobster. A couple of really dodgy characters in the washroom, not sure if they were customers or not. Quite surprising, that. Otherwise, a decent restaurant.“

“I have been hired by Soho House for many years to read tarot and astrology readings for guests for Halloween Events-yes, THAT event, with Prince Harry and Meghan in costumes in 2016 and other years and many New Year's Eve Party events. I love the atmosphere; it's in an old, nicely haunted house in downtown Toronto. I've dined on their delicious cuisine there with friends there and attended Astrology Zone's Susan Miller's lecture on Astrology. I got to meet her, and we became acquaintances as mutual Astrology lovers and writers. You will love it, it affords the opportunity to hob knob with exclusive members.Vegetarian options: My friend Madeleine Marantette, owner of the Grail Springs Wellness retreat who I have worked with for over 10 years, is 100% plant-based vegan and I remember that we had a delicious pea mint soup and other wonderfully flavorful and interesting dishes.“
