I wanted to take the widow of my mentor, for the last 25 years who recently passed away, for a Xmas lunch. The Rustic Social House was ideally located across the street from her condo. Even though some of the restaurant's reviews on the internet were not that favorable, I decided to give it a try just for its convenient location. I am glad I did! Really love this place. It's very cool and modern. The food is really awesome and the Etobicoke location right next to the lake is perfect if you live in the west end of Toronto. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is friendly. Also a great location in terms of parking. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food enhanced by a very friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so very accommodating for our needs. Highly recommended. Appetizer of cauliflower bites was a good start. Brisket great / Philly cheesesteak great and the potato salad a delicious accompaniment. First time but we'll be back.
