BATL Axe Throwing | Port Lands Sports Bars •
33 Villiers St, Toronto

“10/10 Experience. I went with my husband for a date day, and the experience was amazing. The people that assisted with us, Sarah and I’m sorry, but I forget the other gentleman’s name was awesome. There was zero judgement of Me not having any experience and they helped me to the point where I am seriously considering joining a league. I enjoyed it that much. Thank you so much For everything. It was a blast and we will definitely be back if we’re ever in Toronto again. And a very special thank you to Sarah for helping me with technique and even encouraging me to join a league In my local town.“

Enter Peaches to save the day!!!Peaches is not only a great establishment, but the atmosphere of the crowd is so much more enjoyable than your typical divey sports pub. People are respectful of one another and still have a blast reacting to big plays and big time moments. Also, this is one of the rare sports bars I've been to in the city that actually broadcasts the audio feed through the house speakers instead of TV speakers. “Great no nonsense neighbourhood bar with a cosy retro feel from the decor to the fabulous classic rock soundtrack. Sit in a booth, at the bar or at the front tables. Great for solo dining or nights out with friends.Owner Mary is an absolute star, making everyone feel at home whether a regular or first time visitor. She always makes great dinner suggestions - I've never been disappointed.Numerous draught offerings including Murphy's Stout (gets my vote), and multiple screens for watching sport. The kitchen serves up a nice variety of pub favourites - wings are a must try. Bone basket a great touch. Daily specials are always excellent, and if you are in on a Friday go for the fish and chip special. No glitz no glitter, just a nice place to hang out.NB Toronto typical design with WC down a flight of stairs but it's well lit with a hand rail so it's definitely navigable even if you use a stick..“
