Customer service was goodUpdate on June 20th 2023-went in around 7:45pm, ordered an XL French Vanilla and Tea, took over 15 minutes to get our order and had to repeat it to 3 different people, the cashier (who we had to repeat the order 3 times to), to a lady who asked us rudely what we were waiting for(who turned to the cashier and rudely in front of other customers told her that she had to make her own orders), and than again to the man from the deli(who questioned how I wanted my tea even after I told him what I wanted and gave me a dirty look because I ordered a chai tea without milk)“
“The service here is always great. Staff are friendly and they usually have the products I am looking for. What I don't like is the frequent introduction of new and great menu items (all Tim's) that quickly disappear. i.e. decaf lattes and cappuccino. It was so nice having other decaf options beyond regular coffee. Alas, they are off the menu after only a few weeks. Why??? ? P.S. bring back blueberry bagels“

The dog gets more than me because they eat them all. even though your workers are very slow and I have to say my order 4 times i would still recommend Tim's. “I miss some of the menu choices that were discontinued such as the chicken salad sandwiches. The beeping of the ovens can get annoying as is the case in any Tim Hortons. Overall they do a consistent job of serving up delicious, fresh food. The staff are pleasant and make you feel welcome. It is a comfortable place to have a coffee and relax for a bit.“
“This is the fastest Tim's I know of. I work nearby and often wonder if I can make it on time if I stop at Tim's first, and every time I'm amazed how quick it is. I also enjoy that it doesn't have a planet-killing drive-thru.“
“Edit: i went back to the store today to talk to them about the below incident. The 'supervisor' from last night did report the incident to the manager and when I went in today the shift manager I spoke to bent over backwards to make this right for me. She said she just needed to see the proof that the money came out of my account, which of course i provided for her. It was the same proof that i showed the person from last night, my banking app that clearly showed a deduction of $20.53 from my account, paid to Tim Hortons. We settled on having the money put on a giftcard that I can load to my app for future use. I am an almost daily visitor to Tim Hortons. I have never had a customer service issue so it shocked me. Today's customer service was above reproach so I am amending my review to 5 stars from 1. Thank you to Tim Hortons staff for making it right today. $20 may not seem like much, but for this senior living on a fixed income, $20 is a big deal!!Visited the drive thru at the location closest to Costco Waterloo, Friday March 22/24 at 7:35pm. I ordered a small ice capp, a large ice capp and a sweet chili loaded bowl. The total came to $20.53.I got to the window, checked to see that my scan and pay was activated on my phone and the person scanning said, how will you be paying. I informed her that I had used scan and pay, rechecked to make sure the scan and pay was toggled to 'on'... it was. She said it didn't go through. I said, let me check my banking app to make sure the payment didn't go through and the payment had indeed gone through and my bank account was debited $20.53. I showed her my bank app screen and told her it did go through, as evidenced by the debit of the exact amount of the order with the item line reading, "TIM HORTONS #76_V". She argued that my Tim Hortons app was not working and the scan and pay did not work because it didn't show up on her terminal. I responded by saying the problem is not on my end because VERY CLEARLY, the scan and pay DID work as the exact amount was debited from my account. She had scanned the code on my phone app and the payment was instantly deducted from my visa debit... = a successful SCAN AND PAY!!I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was no manager, that she was the supervisor and there was nothing she could do. I again showed her my phone banking app and we continued to bounce back and forth. She asked me what I wanted her to do and I said to give me the order I clearly paid for. Her response, "I can't do that. It is not showing on my screen. Your Tim Hortons app is the problem". I told her the app worked fine, that it is her terminal that is the issue and she said no, there is no issue with her terminal, it is my app... you know, the app that same app that successfully scanned the code and successfully deducted the exact payment from my bank account!She said there was nothing she could do. Too bad for me. She didn't apologize. She didn't give me a number to call. Worst customer service I have ever encountered at Tim Hortons... and you have her working as a supervisor!! Nice one!! I will be visiting the store on Saturday March 23rd to speak to a real manager because your evening supervisor is completely incompetent.I'm not sure if this will show up on an end of shift reconciliation of the drive thru till, but your numbers will be off by $20.53 because you took my money and didn't produce an order.“

“The last month or more this location and others in the city, the coffee has tasted aggressively watered down ...did the company change it's blend ..it's not good...I just go home and add instant crystals to it to get it back to level...Tims in general should look into that. We like our coffee tasting like coffee. Otherwise great staff over there!“

“I was really disappointed in their "new" breakfast sandwich. I prefer a folded egg rather than a fresh cooked egg so I have been going to Tims for this. Recently I ordered one and the folded egg had been replaced. That was my last breakfast sandwich I ordered. I do love their new bold roast coffee though.“
