“Friend and I rolled into this place on a whim. Was pretty centrally located for us. Aaron set us up in a booth near the window and was great. Polite and prompt. The beer on tap was on point and we got started with their Sunday wings and fries special.We had to try their spinach dip with tortillas and it was great! super delicious, I almost licked the bowl clean. You have an option of the dip with tortillas, pita chips or both.The ambience was great, plenty of places to sit without feeling overcrowded. plenty of parking and access to public transit (DRT and GoBus stops are a short walk away).we spent about $13 each on the food and $7 for every pint (or whatever it was) on beer. Worth it.Vegetarian options: Some decent veggie options. If you’re here to get a snack or something to nibble with your drink, it’s decent. If you want something hearty like lunch or dinner, I’m not sure.Parking: They share the plaza with a couple of other restaurants. Plenty of parking but it could get full if there are a lot of customers.“
“A local neighbourhood favourite with a variety of pub food and appetizers but also main dishes that are well priced and super satisfying.Our server was great and always topped up our beverages. There was a dj playing on a Friday night and the music was a bit too loud to have a conversation but other than that it was a great evening.“
“We went to the Brooklin Pub to celebrate my mother-in-law's 60th birthday, and we were extremely impressed with the service, atmosphere, and quality and costs of the food. We were a large party and they were more than accommodating and helpful with our group and our needs. They also had a really fun atmosphere to enjoy the hockey game and lots of TVs and a really big screen which was nice. I would highly recommend the Brooklin Pub and we will absolutely be returning in the future!“
“I usually get take-out but the few times I’ve dined in, I’ve had a good experience. They have an app for ordering online and it is great. They have a points system to earn towards discounts. When I pick up my order I always receive great and friendly service no matter how busy they are. Food never disappoints. Always tasty.“
“Small restaurant but for us definitely a diamond in the rough! We're not from Oshawa just happened to come across the Crooked Uncle on Google...but when I phoned to ask about food allergies I was greeted by the most lovely welcoming employee! She was able to answer our questions on the phone and we LOVED having Kelly as our waitress! It was a bit early on Saturday for us to be able to have the Prime Rib dinner but all 4 of us LOVED our food! No pics be ause we were hungry but the table was quiet, no complaints! And here at cloud nine the lady Riahayaana (sorry I know I misspelt her name) she was such a sweet heart. She was running around like a headless chicken(weekend ) yet her smile stayed intact on her face. If the owner is reading this you certainly need to give her a bonus..she made us feel so comfortable and welcome.“

The drinks are basic and the menu is simple, they don’t have a printed menu but it’s written and hung on the walls. Very cosy and the owners/staff are friendly and nice. “Has the pleasure of visiting Coyote Jack's today for the 1st time. Don't let the outside fool you. It's a nice quaint little place to eat. Had the breakfast..everything was great! Prices are fantastic for the amount you get. Servoce was good. Only downfall is the bathrooms are downstairs which may be difficult to get to for people with disabilities. Will definitely be back.“

“Good portion of wings and fries (sweet chili). Definitely will be back on Mon/Tues with a deal. Pad thai sauce tastes good but not authentic thai food with a lack of vegetables on it. Goat rice is average with very thin slices of meat, but it is soft and cooked enough both of meat and potatoes. (Just wishing for more meat).“
“Went here for Karaoke Mondays, it was great! There were a bunch of specials and I got wings and beer. The wings were very tasty and fresh. They were soft, juicy and full of flavour! 10/10. Really good vibes and the crowd was amazing! Everyone was having a great time. The DJ was really good and had a wide range of songs for karaoke. “2 aussies travelling canada. Wife and I had decided to have dinner here as it was just down the road from the hotel we were staying at. There was 1 other couple having dinner and some locals at the bar having drinks. We ordered the wings special ($10) and being a Monday I got tallboys (cans) for $5.50, the wings are amazing, so tasty, hot and the sauce I selected (honey garlic) is the best.Served by the lovely young lady l, her attitude, Service with a smile and so happy. “After reading the great reviews for this place, I decided to visit, It was a good decision, food is good service is great especially from Chetna, Ambiance and vibe is good. You know its a popular place when there a number of regulars always there. So good I have been back 5 times over the last couple of months. “The chicken curry with rice is to die for!! It really tastes homemade, I'm going crazy over it. Love it!!! Also props to the chef for still making a pretty plating of it even though they were putting it into a takeout container. It looked and smelled gorgeous opening it up!PS: also want to mention that a few months ago I stepped in for a beer after a terrible doctor's appointment. The bartender was suuuuuch a sweetheart, and I still remember how much better she made me feel! I'm a big fan of the branding redesign, but I'm also so glad to see that the hospitality has not changed and is still just as strong as ever!! Definitely an unassuming-yet-high-quality family-friendly place to be! (well at least during the day LOL:))“
