“Got what we wanted! Tested a few new flavors, thanks to the kind staff, and finally picked two unique flavours which we didn't know ever existed. Clean and not much of rush here.Close to the bus stop. I wish the outlet had seating facility. They take orders for ice cream cakes but no delivery service.”
“It was take out and I’m so happy to see you have switched to recyclable containers. The salad was not great, but the chicken and sauce was.Parking: Close to restaurantFree”
“This mcdonalds location has been my go to place for years. I have seen it change multiple times and get upgraded but the service has always been great. I remember coming here for birthday parties 30 years ago.”
“The donuts that I have eaten here at Tim Horton's is as good as many other places - fast food or otherwise. Some might boast that they're the best, but you can't really screw up a donut. Or can you? I suspect that Tim Horton's probably gets their inventory from a third party supplier and just resells them. I could be wrong, but if they make their own, they're decently good donut / pastry makers. I'm glad that this Tim Horton's is nestled away in this part of downtown, mainly because it's off the beaten path and very much less lines. Regardless of what brings you to Tim Horton's, best bet you would come here for the coffee and the options that they serve. While the menu is kind of limited, it's usually good for those who are already on the go, primarily business executives and others who have business within the downtown area (i.e. Tourists and locals). I'm trying to like Tim Horton's for what it is and stands for, but it's an easy decision. I did like the ease of service and the experiences were good and average.”
“Amazing meal with a gorgeous view of Downtown Toronto! Warm service and didn't feel rushed at all. Great selection of daily specials and the signature coconut cream pie is not to be missed.”
“I dined here last night with my little brother and the staff was so attentive and accommodating. Tiron was our server and he was super knowledgeable. The chef Sergio took my brother to the soft serve machine and let him make his own gelato. Such a memorable experience and super immersive. Can't wait to come back soon!”
“Super busy place. We did walk in and had about a half hour wait, which was to be expected. We got all four main dishes and, the red coconut curry noodle dish, along with Gai Satay. Very good food, great garnishes, and really nice atmosphere! Will say, I did have a headache by the end of the dinner, as the lowlight + music + crowd noise was quite a lot.Vegetarian options: Every dish had a veggie/vegan option!!”
“Everything was delicious but I didn't feel it was worth the money despite being no stranger to fine dining. Although everything was cooked to perfection with quality ingredients, the portions for the price felt very off. We were expecting a full piece of chicken but got a baby chicken breast which was confusing. The cabbage was absolutely yum and unexpected. The brioche was our favorite part but was complimentary lol I would pay money for those without question.Worth a try but expect to pay $130+ per person and potentially be hungry after.”
“Had a lovely date night here with my partner. We spontaneously booked a reservation at 5:30pm, which was actually a lovely time to go(our food came quickly, was delicious, and service was great). The menu changes often, which keeps things interesting.”
“Hello. I came by for the first time a few days ago with my grandma and cousin who just came from Vietnam. We would all like to say that our server Kate was exceptional. She was amazing, service was great! It was our first time going to Haidilao and we definitely enjoyed our time there as well as the food. The Tom Yum soup was really good, we wouldn’t get the hot and spicy soup and the tomato soup was alright, for those who like mild, that is your go-to! The beef, shrimp, and vegetables, everything was good!”
“Arguably the top restaurant in Canada. From the moment you step into the restaurant and head to your seat, you will notice the quality of service will be aligned for the whole night. This is my second experience and everything has been consistent since the first (3 years ago during covid)My favourite part was noticing how they remove your plates/cuterly after each meal. Our sommelier recommended us the perfect wine for the night.I got the pleasure observe the kitchen from my table. If you are into the culinary scene, you will notice how meticulous they are when it comes to preparing your dish. From the steps they take to the team chants they do.After watching the TV series 'the bear' (highly recommended) you will appreciate the little things you didn't notice before.Thank you for the wonderful night and this will not be my last experience at alo.”
“We have been here so many times already but this time the service was exceptional thanks to Navin. She prepared the room for us, make sure our cups are filled, and she gave us free dishes because it was my little one’s birthday! She even prepared a mini cake for him. We will definitely come again!”
“My wife and two of our grown kids were in town for the last night of Feist’s tour so where to eat? My wife chose 1 kitchen not knowing it was in a hotel. Hotel dining can sometimes be an iffy proposition. NOT so here. The food was very good. Their dip sampler was delicious, served with crusty, grilled bread and crudités…the red pepper Babaganoush being the standout. Same with the roasted Eggplant, served on a brushstroke of tahini yogurt mixed with fresh herbs and sprinkled with roasted hazelnuts. The Gnocchi with Corn and cotija was delicious but frankly needed salt and my son enjoyed the rigatoni with Vegan Chorizo…yes, VEGAN Chorizo is a thing! Lastly my Salmon was well cooked. The skin crispy on the outside with the interior still slightly undercooked. The Chermoula while tasty, was more like a Chimichurri, which unfortunately didn’t really do well when cooked. It was added to the skin side and not the flesh side so you couldn’t really tell it was there. However the waitress brought more over and it was a delicious accompaniment to the fish and it’s Broccolini over a Beurre Blanc. The service was excellent and she even offered us her own extensive bucket list of restaurants to choose from for the next days meal! We took desserts to go. NOT a cheap meal, but we were more than satisfied and left feeling well fed and well cared for.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and a few vegan options”
“I took my husband to celebrate an occasion and it was phenomenal. The food is spectacular and the service was amazing. I recommend the chicken fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Our server, Meet, made our night really special. Thanks Meet!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian burger is the best I've ever had”
“My friend and I were visiting Toronto for 2 days and once we discovered this restaurant we knew we had to try it. We ordered the Potohari Goat Karahi. Our waitress recommended it and she was right...it was phenomenal. This place is 100% a must for anyone! Try it and you won't regret it.”
“Food was great. The pineapple chutney was so good! You will need a reservation esp at night because this place is always packed. Best to go in the afternoon around 2pm since it is not too crowded.”
“Went to PLANTA on Bay Street for brunch with a friend. I opted for the power lunch which was $28 dollars for a starter, main, and a giant cookie. I got the 1000 layered potato, and the chick'n waffles. The layered potatoes were crispy, and the vegan sour cream on top was indistinguishable from regular sour cream. The chick'n waffles had a nice combination of sweet, spicy, and salty. It was very satisfying and seasoned perfectly. My friend had a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate her! They did inform her that there may be cross contamination, which is something to look out for.The service was very attentive, and friendly. Definitely, try this place!”
“Outstanding food and service. The curated menu was 11/10. We wanted something seafood-focused and they truly delivered. The seabream was perfection. Highly recommend chef counter seating - it makes the experience so special watching the magic happen. Great vibes all around!”
“Wonderful restaurant! Apps were amazing (toasted focaccia and burrata), mains were good too (saffron tonnarelli was a bit too spicy for us; the branzino was lovely). Perfect amount of seasoning overall. Great wine selection. Would definitely go back.”
“This restaurant has been recommended by a friend for a long time and I finally stopped by to try it today! It was not meal time when we went, so luckily we didn’t have to wait for a table, but the tables inside were almost full. The store pays great attention to service attitude, and the lady Jenny who helped us order was super gentle and gave a lot of good suggestions. We ordered four dishes of Perfume Frog, Maoxuewang, Pickled Pepper Rabbit and Yellow Throat. They tasted really good. Because we like spicy food, we chose to add spicy food. After adding spicy food, Maoxuewang was indeed spicier and more enjoyable. The fat sausage in it is well processed. Even people who don’t eat fat sausage find it quite delicious after eating it! The only thing I am a little disappointed with is that there is too little blood in Mao Xue Wang and the pieces are smaller...but I personally highly recommend Perfume Frog! The frog meat is fresh and tender, and the diced melon inside (it seems to be chayote) is super sweet and delicious!”
“Pretty decent place for ayce sushi. However, I think they can benefit from reducing the portion size for certain sushi rolls, like change it from 8 pieces to 4 so that customers can taste a greater variety of sushi without getting too full.”
“Where the east meets west. Indulge in the finest sea urchins, bluefin tuna belly, and freshly prepared wasabi—all at an unparalleled value. Immerse yourself in the ambiance and engage with the chef for a richer experience, enhanced further if you can speak a bit of Japanese.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been to dt Liu Yishou to eat hot pot for one person. It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I feel that the quality of the ingredients is better. I tried the cuttlefish slippery dish which I had never had before. After it was cooked, the cuttlefish inside tasted very distinct, which was a bit surprising. The service is also very good, and the dishes are added in a timely manner. The most important thing is that when you are tired, you can have some self-pickup snacks to change the taste. Although it is a snack, the food is very solid. Small cakes, steamed buns, spring rolls, chicken feet, etc. can all be made into one portion. It is great if you can pick it up for free. Come back next time!”
“"Dining at restaurant was a delightful experience! From the charming ambiance to the exquisite dishes, each bite was a symphony of flavors. The attentive staff ensured every need was met. A culinary gem worth revisiting!"”
“Wanted to try this spot for a while, so came on a whim & have ZERO regrets. Food was everything I wanted it to be, My server Mack was excellent & friendly, and overall could just see this spot being way more a part of my regular food places.Thank you for the great service, Mack!”
“Michelin star experience in Toronto; it is somewhat complicated.Let's start with the venue - a very typical highrise restaurant, think CN Tower restaurant or Watermark in Niagara falls. The views are nice, the room is not rotating through. The service is great (if a bit too much sometimes), the waiters are knowledgeable, attentive and nice. The food... You definitely pay premium for the location and for the Michelin star. We took the most expensive signature menu + 2 glasses of wine + coffee. Overall it was a fairly typical 6 course + 2 course dessert + 1 bread course experience. The dishes were presented in a predictably beautiful way, but the taste was somewhat subdued and felt "safe". I do not have specific complaints but I just expected the food to be more exciting and imaginative for the price.Oh and they have the best washroom I've ever seen in a restaurant; almost 180 downtown views, floor to ceiling windows, very impressive.”
“Délicieuse in every way! Le Swan is a classic, chic, elevated French style diner. The food is amazing, service is top notch & the cocktails are delicious. We loved everything & had such a great time there. Our server was friendly, funny & very knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent suggestions of both drinks & food. Some of our highlights were, well, everything! We are excited to go back to try the items we didn’t get!”
“Our dining experience at La Bartola was truly exceptional. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. Our server went above and beyond, offering excellent recommendations and providing a professional explanation of the dishes and ingredients. He was also very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.”
“My husband and I have eaten at #Pukka on St Clair West quite a few times. We love the Indian fusion cuisine. They have great dishes with mild spice we often ask them to spice it up a bit more. Some of the dishes we’ve enjoyed. The spinach stuffed with fig appetizer is wonderful. The vegetable pakora has a lot of flavor with a great tomato chutney. The Chicken 65 is fantastic. We love the curry main dishes including spicy Punjabi chicken, creamy pumpkin and an amazing duck breast with blueberries, the butter chicken is nice and sweet and mild spice but great flavor. We enjoy the beverages including ginger lemonade, and ruby ginger drink. We love visit on the early bird dinner from 5-6 as we try new things. We love the attentive service and We will be back to Pukka again. #pukkatoronto #LocalToronto #stclairwestvillage #punjabichickencurry #pumpkincurry”
“I visited today, January 10th around 4 PM and the two guys working there (one at cashier and one making the food) I believe they may be of South Eastern Asian descent (I apologize for guessing, I just did not keep my receipt to check the names) were really nice to us and went above and beyond. Thank you very much.”
