“Saw good reviews for Hug Sushi, so wanted to try and see if the reviews were accurate. In comparison to a few other AYCE places in the area I thought the quality of food was great. First, we were going to order al lacarte, but then decided we could try a few more items if we went AYCE. Portions were good, not too big either. Being AYCE, you can always order more if you want to. presentation was very good, see pictures below... yes, you do eat with your eyes first. If it does not look appetizing, you won't want to eat it. Service was great, our waitress was very attenative. A little treat to cap off our dinner was a nice touch, since it was my birthday.Keep up the great food and service Hug Sushi!! “Been there a few times and the food has always been great. We skipped the all you can eat and ordered off the menu. The servers are all attentive and friendly. We had a couple of cocktails that were delicious. Definitely recommend trying a cocktail. Will be going back for sure.“
“Ordered rainbow roll ,,it was as creamy sweet and filling as a 12 slice roll at that level of competition,,,very nice and not fake fish,,,the roots and other greens were strong and had a very healthy goodness about it,,the white fish sashimi,,three nice thick slices of white fish had the texture of fresh fish,,,not smelly or dried up,, shreded carrots and cabbage on bottom of dish,,and a leaf of lettuce,, nothing to complain about,,ill give them a 10,, besides raw fish iis a fill that keeps me full longer to finish off my day without filling hungry.“

“My first time eating and doing take-out delivery with Kibo Sushi House - Woodbridge through DoorDash delivery was an absolute fabulous experience! My delivery arrived within 10 minutes of me placing my order. Excellent service, indeed! I ordered the Teriyaki Bento box, which was $19, but the choice of protein in which I chose the bulgogi beef, added on another $2. So, in total, it was about $22. My order contained white rice with black sesame seeds and seaweed sprinkles on top, a side of soba/ japchae noodles, very flavorful bulgogi beef with some stir fried veggies underneath, , as well as salad and soup on the side. To my surprise, when I had opened my delivery package, I noticed I was gifted with a FREE fried chicken box, plus 1 fried veggie mandu, and 1 fried broccoli, with a “Thank you” note on top of the box! This lunch was the highlight of my day, to be frank! I had such a delightful experience with Kibo Sushi House - Woodbridge, and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for pleasant Japanese food! Hands down of the bestest restaurants I’ve ever eaten at ? 10/10 ! The only minor thing that I would improve would be the miso broth, as it quite plain to be honest and is lacking umami, but other than that, the food was awesome and the portions are even better in real life than online! Now, that is a jubilant surprise that will for sure turn new customers into regulars :) It’s been quite a long time since I’ve seen a restaurant in the GTA that I am proud of ? “The most fantastic Japanese restaurant in the entire GTA. Be sure to try their uni and shima aji sashimi. Service is warm, attentive. Very unique and quality flavour profiles of their dishes, and everything is super fresh. Highly recommend to all, especially those who appreciate Japanese cuisine and seafood.“
“Food was good for all you can eat probably your average to above average sushi ? Service was slow at times and hard to get attention of waiters. Classic Asian service gotta wave them down you know ? they were busy tho so understandable. Atmosphere was dope they had this wall with a skyline of toronto felt like I was in Toronto. 4/5 bring your kids they eat for cheap.“
“I dined this afternoon for a pre workout meal and was extremely pleased with the outcome of my experience. I don’t typically leave reviews on restaurants but today I experienced 10/10 service and I felt like I had no choice but to leave a review. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young lady with a smile and positive energy. I received my food fresh and at a reasonable time. “Great place! Take out and delivery has been great every time. Dine in is nice too for all you can eat, many options and everything is fresh. Decent price too. Staff are very on top of the tables, topping up drinks and clearing plates. Very friendly with my family and kids too. The dining room set up could be modified and updated, but food and service are on point!“
“Great ambience, friendly staff and tasty food. Really love the beef tataki , beef tartare and salmon tartare. Ingredients are very fresh. Love the mentaiko Caesar salad; tasty and fresh. Will definitely try other selections on the menu next time.“
