“This is hands down the BEST fish and chips in the GTA. The owner is very kind and considerate of the customers. The vibe of the restaurant is very quaint and clean. Restroom is very easily accessible and clean. The fish is to die for. I personally don’t prefer the fries because they aren’t seasoned but if you like these types of fries I think you’ll like them. I always swap fries for the onion rings, they’re amazing! The service is phenomenal! Very welcoming and hospitable. I always come here because I know I will get the best food and service!“

Chips are straight fresh fried potatoes about half a cm in thickness. If you're going to introduce any perso or kids to fish, this is what you give them.The atmosphere is diner/chippy so no frills, but about what you expect. You don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the food.My in laws introduced me to this place and have been going there for over 40 years or more, and we get take out when my MIL asks for it. “Saw the Elvis tribute show there last night. Show was good, food was good. The service from Annabelle was amazing. She was running around all night in a very busy and hot room. I was surprised they left all the big screen TVs on during the performance. Found that a bit distracting and disrespectful to the performer. The TVs should have been turned off. Other than that, has a good night.“

To add to the disappointment, we were asked to leave abruptly (15 minutes after paying), a surprising and unwelcome end to our meal. I understand the need to turn tables but this was completely unprofessional. There were 3 couples waiting for tables as we left and yet the restaurant could accommodate hundreds of guests. As an out-of-town (out of country) visitor, I've never encountered such a situation before, leaving me with mixed feelings about the establishment.“
