“Sarah served a tasting for my family and I. She was a complete professional, and a great educator. Definetly worth coming out for the experience, you will learn about wine and enjoy it.”
“Blue Goat is my absolute favorite place to dine in Amity. And I know, Amity isn't a huge town, but even if it was filled with restaurants, I know Blue Goat would still be the best. I love everything about them: Locally grown produce and meat, and a short, curated menu so you can depend on anything you order to be exemplary. They have prepared items if you just want a little something to grab and go, and they also sell their meat and produce too! We've dined here a few times, and I always try to order a goat or lamb dish as that is not something I would cook at home, and I know it will be skillfully prepared and tasty. For instance, we recently had goat empanadas....so darn good! Love them! We've also had the lamb barbeque. Their fries are ridiculously crispy and yummy, salads are always good, and for dessert the chocolate cake or cookies have been delicious. Don't forget to wander around a bit while you wait on your order (Which is always quick!). They have fun artwork, cute mugs, even dog treats! In December they had some sweet handmade ornaments and bulbs in planters. They are only open 3-8 Friday and Saturday so might take a little planning ahead, but they are so worth seeking out. If you are in McMinnville, it's only a little drive, and if traveling from that area to Salem, maybe make a pit stop in Amity for a tasty treat?”
“Keeler Estate Vineyard is the best vineyard. Sure, their biodynamic wines are great and the vineyard is beautiful and family-owned. But what you'll get here that you will get nowhere else is Paco. Paco is the resident vineyard black tri Australian Shepherd and he is the bestest boy. He takes you on tours around the vineyard and hangs out with you during tastings on the porch. Highly recommend.”
“Had a great time at this unique winery that focuses on Portugues varietals. Luke was fun and knowledgeable. Also got to speak with the winemaker Chris, who really knows his stuff and does some fun options/variations of wine with the same grape. One of the few places I know in the Amity/McMinnville or even the Willamette Valley in general, that have a variety of port style wines, including some 10 year and older. They also do a white port style that isn't over done, and something you don't usually find. Would look for when they have special events, as their space and some events they talked about, sound entertaining and where you can really learn about wine making.”
“Very cute little homey place with an open bar around the kitchen and excellent menu items. I had the warrior waffle which was savory. My sister had the Elvis, which was sweet. That way we each had a bite of the other and were able to share.I didn’t think one waffle would fill me up, but it certainly did! Highly recommend coming out here to visit this cute little place and have a bite to eat, a cuppa coffee, or a chai. They also serve lunch as well.”
“We have their tacos every saturday. The owner is very dedicated to doing a great job. The hot sauce is Very hot so believe them when they say it. Green sauce is awesome. Al Pastor tacos are my favorite!”
“I love getting coffees here every day during my exchange year in 2018, love their vanilla frappe, i can drink it everyday. staffs were friendly! Hope i can visit Amity again! Such a cute little coffe shop.”
“We love this place, go there often with school friends. They are great about accommodating large parties.Dietary restrictions: They will do anything you request.Parking: There's a back lot on the side of the building for additional parking.Kid-friendliness: They welcome our kiddos and treat them well.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.”
“Environment is fun and inviting. Great place to hang out have a couple of beers with friends. If one of the girls isn't working it's going to be a little slow”
“We were surprised and excited to find a high-end restaurant a block from our hotel. We jumped on the chance to go and were definitely rewarded for it. The tasting menu was great with the wine pairings. The dishes really encouraged taking a 'perfect bite' to make the magic happen. There were many interesting dishes presented in novel ways and flavor combinations to tickle even my fickle palette. The theme of the food was definitely a mushroom, root vegetable, 'earthy,' umami forward experience. The wines were perfectly paired with the dishes and had a great variety, even including local favorites. If there is anything to caution over, make sure you get a reservation at least a day in advance and know that it is pricey. If you love the fine dining experience and wish to splurge, please give it a go. You won't be disappointed. This is on-par with some of the Michelin starred restaurants we've eaten at. It's the real deal.”
“Fantastic New American restaurant in Oregon wine country. We walked in for brunch at 12:30 on a Sunday in April and sat at the bar. We got incredible service from their friendly bartender Steven. The double smash cheeseburger and the chicory Caesar salad were two of the best versions we’ve had in a long time, and their homemade Oreos and milk were an unforgettable dessert. Their orange cassis gin & tonic was a memorably great take on a G&T.Even better, most ingredients are sourced from the restaurant’s own farm.”
“I really like this place. Always very friendly, nice, welcoming. The only place I will buy menudo. Very clean and delicious. Martha has done an amazing job always.”
“This pizza is easily Mcminnville's finest!Neopolitan, with locally sourced and house made ingredients. The creativity, ever changing specials and seasonal awareness are brilliant! The staff is friendly, professional, curteous, and never overbearing. I love this restaurant for many reasons! Don't skip the arancini, it is masterful, and also incorporates seasonal special inspiration in addition to the standard tried and true. The short ribs with polenta will have you comforted, and tearing up at the same time! I can give my highest recommendation for this restaurant! Chef Jeremy has some very simple and delicious direction, with truly amazing creativity, and with a relatively tight space he manages to crank out busy service with what appears to be "ease". Bravo!!!”
“Quiet little food truck. Amazing food, really good flavors, huge portions for the price. I ordered the Thai Cashew Chicken and the owner was really sweet. I'll definitely come here again, next time to test the spicy version. ??Kid-friendliness: The owner is very sweet and kind. She treats everyone like a valued friend almost.”
“Best breakfast I have had in at least 8-10 years. Everything is made from scratch on site. The hash brown potatoes were fresh and crispy perfection.I wish I could give them six stars. Coffee, homemade bread and jam. Hope you get Vicky as your wait person. Very, very good ?”
“Oh, let me tell you about my delightful experience at La Rambla Restaurant & Bar! From the moment we stepped inside, I knew we were in for a treat! The ambiance was charming, with a cozy atmosphere that just invited us in. Now, let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, it was beyond amazing! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and had that authentic taste that you just can't find anywhere else. It was like a culinary journey through Spain right here in town! From the paella to the tapas, every bite was a delight for the taste buds! But what truly blew me away was the staff. Let me share a little story with you - we accidentally came in through the back door and sat down without realizing we needed a reservation. But instead of turning us away, the staff welcomed us with open arms and accommodated us without a single question. Now, that's what I call exceptional service! I can't say enough good things about the wonderful folks at La Rambla. Their kindness and hospitality made our dining experience truly memorable. It's no wonder I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in town. La Rambla has become like a home away from home for me, and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!”
“Stopped here for lunch with my Sister and Sister in law.Nice quiet little Cafe in Lafayette, OR. I ordered the Pork Belly Tacos, which I highly recommend. They were delicious. The Service was a bit slow, but the food more then makes up for it, as well as the friendly atmosphere.”
“Always exceptional food, wine, service, and ambience. While we thoroughly enjoyed the new (pared down) Sunshine menu, if it's your first time try the Mushroom Madness or Omakase which are still available and not to be missed. We make it a point to come twice a year and always look forward to the next time. Levi is a skilled and personable sommelier and Chef is outstanding at his craft.”
“I had two ciders here and loved them both. Rebel Rose and Kingston Black. Also had a snack tray. Everything was affordable. And it was great talking to the owner. I'll be looking for your cans at New Seasons! Everyone coming back from the coast or traveling thru the valley should stop!!”
“I have eaten there twice and plan on becoming a regular. Both times the food was outstanding and the wait staff excellent. Awesome ambience good for lunch meetings or casual dinners. Full bar, good beer selection. I did not see it they have wines but sure they must. I had Chana Masala and garlic naan. Very tasty. The naan came out steaming and I ordered more half way through the Chana masala which they had out in minutes.”
“Lack of parking is a bit frustrating. Trendy atmosphere but quaint.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options!Wheelchair accessibility: Lacks proper parking.”
“Just visited Sun Break winery which is inside Bjorson. Pinots, other wines & **vermouth**--2 types. Really flavorful & yummy. Spent time with David who was knowledgeable & very friendly. Then we blended barrel samples, something I've never done. Fascinating! Excellent wines at most reasonable prices. Highly recommend. (Then went to dinner at Cozy Taberna-top-notch.)”
“We stopped into this location about 30 minutes before they usually close. We were trying to choose from the menu quickly to accommodate their usual closing time. The employee helping us quickly noticed that I was anxious to not keep them there past their usual time and insisted that I sit and relax. He brought us something to drink and helped us choose what we may be interested in by answering all our questions. All the employees made us feel welcome and not rushed. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is wonderful and the crew is warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back, repeatedly...”
“Great food with great portions. The service was excellent. Wanted Saki and the server was able to explain the options so an educated purchase could be made. This is our go to!”
“Best Mexican food in town!I've been going here for years because no other place like it compares. They get the order right, out quickly, every time. Coming from California, I can say that this Mexican food is about as authentic as it gets.”
“So great time after time. I love thier chili burger or dog. Great wings! Ask about their off menu homemade pickles! Best pickles I’ve ever had, and they sell them by the jar. They have super spicy pickles too.”
“When I can make it here from Salem it’s always such a delight! I love all the cocktail choices. There are so many fun unique spins on the drinks and the murals are so fun to look at. I love all the plants vibes and having a dinner menu that is also delish is the cherry on top”
“I enjoyed a meal with a friend. I wasn't fond of the sausage patty (chicken, I think), however I tried it! But everything else was great! Hot, perfect portion (half) cooked the way I would!Very efficiently run, place!”
“Wonderful restaurant! The menu has a lot of variety and dishes I had not seen before. I got the pork papusas. So delicious! Our server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!”
“Their service was great. The food was good, better than I was expecting. The quantity is fair for the price, and they have a beautiful concept. I will be back here again.”
