I have had afternoon tea in London and the Isle of Man. To say I am tea obsessed is an understatement and I have the bar set pretty high. This place finally met my expectations of what an afternoon tea should be! The owners are very knowledgeable about all the different kinds of teas. The pot of tea for each person came hot and stayed that way. Each delicacy on the 3 tier tray was absolute perfection. I lost count of how many times I said wow. Add in the decor and the ambiance and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for making my birthday tea a great experience.

I love afternoon tea and have done it around the country (and world). Somehow I had the amazing luck to discover this gem of a tea emporium in the last week of their Wizarding Tea. My husband and I went this weekend and WOW! What a full on experience from the moment you walk through the door (or platform). The decor was so detail oriented, the experience was magical, the tea and food were DELICIOUS. If you're a literary n*** like me, I loved the details you just kept discovering around the room (and even the water closets!). What really sold it for me was that I have a disability and the waitstaff did not bat an eye at helping me out without any advance notice so I could really enjoy the experience. I wish I could say that's a common experience but it's not and they deserve recognition and major praise for this. I absolutely will be a repeat customer. I will come back for their events and their regular teas even though I live over two hours away. A great business is worth supporting!

The most delicious food!! Treat yourself to the ultimate foodie experience, especially if you're a fan of anything British. For Mother's Day I picked up tea to go and it was amazing - the soup and sandwiches and treats were the best around. It's also fun to come to tea in person and and the real full experience

Such a cool place. The service is wonderful! We loved the Harry Potter theme. It was a truly magical experience complete with magician and entertainment. The scones and desserts and all delicious as well. Fun times to be had here for sure.

Took my son here for the wizarding afternoon tea and had a great time. They really put a lot of detail and attention into the theming and that makes it something truly special. It's no secret that this is a nicer splurge than your average tea, but when you realize what efforts went into your experience, you'll see it's well worth it. They have a gift shop up front full of the coolest Harry Potter merchandise that you could ever wish for. Once you enter through the brick wall platform (just like the movies) you'll find fabulous theming and such great service from all of their staff. Everyone there truly took care of us so well. Three different staff came around to our table to do a fun tea leaf reading, quiz sheets, and to serve the tea and food. They explain each course along the way and give a good description of the bites and tea selection. My tea came recommended by our server (Nightbus Fog) and it was delicious with cream and sugar. I'm drinking my leftover tea for breakfast as I write this review and it's even great now, iced. A huge thank you to Clockwork Rose for being open for customers to request diet restrictions and options..they ask you to let them know of any when you make your reservation and they were prepared for our pescatarian needs as soon as we arrived. They have this locked in and handled so great, it was really nice to know they cared and prepared something that would accommodate us. I took my nine year old son and his eyes were lit up the entire time. They really made it a fun and special experience for him, and in a time when it's really hard to be a parent and do fun outings with your kids, I couldn't have asked for anything more. He couldn't stop thanking me the entire time and happily passed out on the car ride home (warning: afternoon tea will do this to you). My only reason for giving slightly less than a perfect review, is that I wasn't raving overall about the food. The broccoli cheddar soup was to die for, and the smoked salmon bite and scones were great, but there were some bites that fell flat which was disappointing. You can't like everything always, so I will definitely be back to try more options and I can't recommend this experience enough to anyone looking for a special tea date. After posting our photos I've got everyone asking me about where to go. So happy I found out about this gem.

While my husband and I were on vacation last week we made a reservation for afternoon tea here and I'm so glad we did!! They were doing the most amazing Wizarding Tea event and the decorations not only looked like they were straight from the set of a Harry Potter movie, but the appropriately named teas and foods were truly magical!! It was clear how much effort and love they put into their store and event, and not only was everything delicious but they were so kind!! Definitely going back if we're in the area again!!!!!

I visited this tea house with a friend and it was lovely. They explain the different teas offered and go over the various foods and goodies to expect. They even have gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options. The decor is cool, everything was yummy and the service was great. I'll definitely be visiting again

We had such a great experience here for afternoon tea. Everything was so delicious even for my very picky husband. The tea was so delicious and the food all made on site was exceptionally filing and tasty. I can't wait to bring my kids for a girls afternoon. I'm sad that after 10 years in Beaverton it took so long to find this gem.

I was looking forward to our visit based on the reviews, and this tea room definitely lived up to the hype! Wonderful tea, beautiful ambience, and excellent service. Even our pickiest eaters enjoyed the food, and everyone is already taking about our next visit back. We spanned 3 generations in our group, so it's truly fun for all ages!

We had tea service today and it was an amazing experience. The tea selection was extensive and the owner explained several of the teas based on our preferences. We started with mimosas, then Caesar salad, savory choices, scones, and desserts. The service was truly top-notch. I'm not sure how anything could be improved. Every detail was taken care of. The experience was a true treat!

I got reservations for high tea for my girlfriend as a surprise for her birthday. Tea is one of her favorite things in the world, and she had never been to high tea, so imagine my thrilled surprise when I found high tea in the style of her OTHER favorite thing in the world.... steampunk! Wow, as soon as you walk into Clockwork Rose, you feel like you've been transported into a scene from your favorite book or show. The decor and ambiance are perfect. Everywhere you look there's a new whimsical or peculiar thing to discover. It's always fun to hear a master talk about something you've also studied, and hearing the owner, Maggie, explain the menu of teas and their origin stories was fascinating. We also loved our server, Celene. Celene really seemed to enjoy working there, and had a huge amount of info memorized! Wow! The food was impeccable, we can see why the reservation system is so important. It must take a long time to prepare such an awesome array of savories and confections! Some standout favorites for me were the pot roast and of course the SCONES! Watching my girlfriend take her first ever bite of clotted cream was a real treat for me. We also spent a good amount of our time there using Shazam to identify the cool music they were playing so we could add it to our playlists. It was perfectly curated! What a way to make an occasion special. We decided that we cannot WAIT to bring our moms and our best friend when they visit.... hopefully sooner rather than later! Thank you for the best birthday ever!

Three friends and I had the high tea service today. It was FANTASTIC! The atmosphere is so whimsical and fun that it completely takes any pretentiousness out of the experience (as I have felt with other tea services). The amount of things to look at and appreciate in the tea room is so great [especially if you are a Harry Potter fan:)]. We were offered great recommendations for a tea to choose (whether we knew what we liked for tea or not). The food was phenomenal! Make sure you go with a big appetite! Oh, the chicken Waldorf and cucumber sandwiches were scrumptious. All of the food was delicious. I had high expectations for this place and it exceeded them. My boyfriend couldn't believe it when I told him how much it cost. A GREAT value! We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience, they recommended tea for us based on our taste preferences and the food was AMAZING! A ton of food but also a great variety, with a number of hot and cold savory bites, additional hot and cold sweet bites, and the most delicious fresh scones with clotted cream and jam! Would absolutely recommend.

Going for tea time dressed up is a rare treat for me, and especially with the pandemic it's even more rare to wear anything but pajama and robes. Decided to make a visit with a friend to celebrate our time together. It took a few minutes to review the extensive menu, and it was determined as follows: Starter Egg salad on wheat Salmon puff cake with cream cheese Bistro beef stroganoff with mashed potato Quish and sausage puff pastry Scones - lemon and poppy seed, lemon curd and raspberry jam. 5 desserts Pannacotta with blackberry Fruit tart French macaron Maringe cotton candy - blue raspberry and strawberry Chocolate tulip with dulce de leche I made sure to skip breakfast for this extensive meal. The savory starter was a great way to see the quality aside from the tea. Nothing was dry to taste as though it was left out for while, which I've had issues with other establishment. I ate little bit of everything, trying to leave room for dessert. Atmosphere was dimly lit with serene setting with limited customers, but we've joked smiling behind our masks and sighed in delight as the tea was brought in. Actually I forgot to write the tea down, but I remember sharing it with my friend realizing we couldn't finish all he food - even with full hour of eating and chatting! I'm happy coffee and tea alike gets so much attention from the community, and hope to return again once I can find a prettier dress that fits me once the gym opens back up on regular cadence.

By far a 5 star experience for my friend & I after our visit today! We had made reservations for a high/afternoon tea service on my one day off this week & it was WELL worth it. My friend has been to other tea places before, but I never had & now I can't wait to make another reservation here. I will be bringing more friends/family with me next time! The service is impeccable as soon as you walk through the door, you get greeted by a friendly worker & instantly immersed into their little wonderland of steampunk. I would give a five star review just simply on the fact that the owners are incredibly knowledgeable on everything little thing about the teas in house; wether it's what's going to suit you best, what to pair it with, the history of it & the blend itself. They have so many teas in house, you can choose loose leaf or sachets to buy & take home with you. They also have some house made blends exclusively made just for them! Not to mention all the other goodies they have to indulge in; like house-made chocolates/sweets, jewelry, fun trinkets (including harry potter wands/merch) & so much more! If you ever end up in the area I definitely suggest you take a gander inside and take your time looking around :) & if you're looking for more of a sit-down evening make reservations in advance for their afternoon tea! YOU WONT REGRET IT. :-) (I posted around 10-15 pictures as well)
