“amazing baked goods, my favorite is the nepolian cake. All around pretty authentic and solid when it comes to selection. I 1000% recommend going here, the low star reviews are all crumb eaters who don’t understand that it’s considered rude to be overly friendly and chatty to customers in eastern Europe. The staff is really nice and friendly when you do strike up conversation and i would never in a million years consider them nasty or rude. My favorite store❤️❤️“
“Finally some new employees! Kim is a wonderful and very clean employee! I can tell she likes her job and is very wonderful at customer service. I recommend coming here when she works. I have seen her in the afternoon shifts usually around 6pm. Don't forget to tip!!“
“Still has great ham, about $15 a pound about the same as in fine deli.While waiting for a free sample another couple tried to order lunch. They were out of (pita) bread, and did not have any back up. They next asked about soup, nope out of that too! So they asked about salad, and guess what, no salad.They sat nearby when I ate my sample, not sure what they got. Tables were nice but between carts etc. like not really up to do restaurant meals, did have soda from a machine.Decades ago I used to eat sandwiches here, but besides the ham they kept changing it adding lettuce mayo less meat. They closed to come back for holidays, but seem to be back full time now. During height of pandemic they had pre-ordered pickup in back. My sample was ok, but I bought ham to make sandwiches at home, so good.“
“I have been going to Doozys for cigarettes and to play the machines for a long time. The emplotess aee very sweet. Talkative and always eager to help you with whatecer you needs are. Very relaxing and low key place. You can even buy your lottery tickets and have a seat at one of there tables and scratch until your hearts content.“
