This little gem in downtown Beaverton is far beyond what I expected when we stopped by to grab a bite. We were greeted and welcomed by the owners. I ordered the Special Dish and Iraqi Chai Tea. Double yumm!Parking: Street parking available within a block of restaurant.

When I saw a restaurant with 5 stars and 553 Google reviews, I couldn't believe my eyes. After eating there, I understand. This place is incredible. Four people fed for $50 with some of the most delicious pastry and coffee I've ever had. The inside is full of gorgeous art, complimented by incredibly kind staff who go above and beyond. Every dish came out with 4 utensils for our party to share without us even asking, and ingredients were clearly listed for our dietary restrictions.Truly a five star experienceVegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Ingredients clearly listed and coffee drinks without milk

My wife and I went to Family Cafe for the first time today. The service was friendly and warm. The food and drinks are very tasty. Definitely the new ‘go to spot’!Parking: Free 1 hour street parking fills up fast during busy times. There is more parking on either side from the cafe if you continue on Broadway.

I was looking for a place to have breakfast, hundreds of 5 stars must be great.When I got here notice that they have a little more than American breakfast, so I took the risk with a Iraqi tea and their omelette, the omelette was ok but I loved the tea, It was smooth on flavor and aroma, the price is reasonable, and the staff welcoming, small place I don't know how busy can get but there were just a few people when I got there

This place is incredible. We had the fava been dish and the ground beef breakfast. It was so so good. Spices were compelling and atmosphere made us feel like we were in another land. Go and try this place; it’s amazing.

Such a great little spot. Everything was amazing, the food, the beverages. The tea itself is worth a regular visit. We know we will be back. Such a sweet and hospitable couple running running the cafe. They were so kind and gave my baby a free bracelet.

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fresh & yummy food, very kind servers, and the cozy atmosphere. I also loved seeing that it’s run by a tight-knit Middle Eastern family, being Middle Eastern myself. You can tell they care about what they’re making as well as their customers. We look forward to coming back!
