Moonstruck Chocolate Shop

They sell sipping chocolate!!!! Yummy! Prices are a tad high, but you are paying for high quality chocolate. I wish that I tried some of their small chocolates behind the glass. I didn't and instead opting for a spicy sipping coco. While at the PDX airport, I did buy a bar of Moonstruck, almost kicking myself because I was at the shop in Beaverton where I potentially could've paid less. Doh! Unfortunately, the store will be closing down. There was a half price sale going on when I dropped by the store on Friday. They also stopped serving all beverages. I was lucky enough to have had visited the store on Tuesday before they ran out of the milk chocolate ganache which is used for making mochas. I've been curious about this place for a while. As a "last minute save" for V-day I ordered some truffles. Most of the collections were sold out but I ordered a "love letters collection" and a "strawberries and cream collection". These were both beautifully designed and delicious. I'd say they measure up to the reputation, and I look forward to drop in some time and try one of their hot chocolates.
