Spent our anniversary here, super low key in the outside dining area. Great food had steak salad cooked perfectly med-rare. With extra whatever salad dressing they put on it. I needed more! It was that good! Great staff and fast service. I will be coming back again! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

The service definitely could have been better. We went for brunch and there wasn't a drink menu, so we ordered mimosas. When we ordered a second round, we found out we could choose from a variety of flavors. The first server never told us that. There were ants all over the table. The locals perched at the bar and the bartender kind of gave us (and the people we were meeting who came separately) dirty looks when we came in like we were unwelcome.

Contender for best burger in PDX. Good draft beer list and the service is excellent. Dog friendly deck too!

I can't recommend this place enough. Our server, Michael, was sincerely friendly. Their burgers are incredible, and their house made chips with the gorgonzola cheese sauce are super addictive. I look forward to trying their fried ravioli the next time I visit.

I have dined here many times over the years. They have a decent selection of beers and they really take pride in the food, the preparation the ingredients the menu choices. The servers are always friendly and give good recommendations. The burgers are top-notch, steaks are good and the chips salad and soups are also excellent.

The food here is imaginative, fresh, and consistently thoughtful without moving in on avant garde territory, where they would likely crash and burn. These folks specialize in doing a solid, delicious take on recognizable meals, and they do it well. The bartenders have their game together, and if you manage to run a surprise drink past them once, it won't happen again. The service is consistently attentive, helpful, friendly, and professional. They are good at noticing and rem

Traveling for business again, looking for a place to grab a cocktail and dinner near my hotel in Beaverton, OR. Found the Fireside Grill and really happy that I did. The menu looked so good, as did the food going up in the window, I had a hard time deciding what to have. Chose the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and it was awesome. A huge sandwich accompanied by a large side of their house chips. Not often that I cannot finish a sandwich, but this one made for two meals. Oftentimes a place serves up big food to cover quality and taste issues. Surely not the case at Fireside. (Note the menu says that sandwich is chicken strips, it is not, it is a full chicken breast.) Kudos also to the staff, who were great. A little unusual in that they all do everything, bartend, serve, cleanup, something you don't see often. And you can tell they like working together, the camaraderie is obvious. I'll be back in Beaverton pretty regularly, and will certainly be back at Fireside! If you are staying at a Marriott mention that, they have a discount for that.

Stopped in last night. Place was hoppin. A server took our drink order pretty promptly but she had so many tables she forgot to take our food order. About 15 minutes later Another server noticed our menus sitting on our table - a sign we still needed to order food, so He took our order. About an hour later, still no food. I had a direct view into the kitchen and noticed several tables who were served food who had come in after us. We had to leave, they rushed the order and boxed it up. Burgers were almost rare when we opened the boxes at home. They comped the bill but it was very unfortunate and disappointing.

We just love this place. They perfectly cook hamburgers and have a great variety of other items. Nice selection of beer, wine, and cocktails too. And the servers are terrific. Oh yeah, no minors too. :)

Love that they have burgers that you can substitute with chicken for no additional charge. We got our burgers with side of fresh homemade chips. FYI: the chips are crispy on the outside and slightly soft on the inside.

I found out about this place from a co-worker who swore by it. It was so talked up by her and a few other friends that I had to check it out. My fiancé and I go on a double date once a month with another couple and the rule is we have to go somewhere no one has been before, so we lucked out this month when we agreed on The Fireside. Keep this in mind while you read the next sentence, I had a picture in my mind of a classy little bar with bomb food. When we pulled up we looked at each other like uhhhh. On first glance this place looks like a dive bar, which is no problem because they have some of the best food. When we walked in and got seated we were like ok, this is pretty classy and it reminded us of a McMenamins. The funny thing about that is that it used to be a McMenamins. We were greeted very kindly and sat out on the patio where we waited for our friends. We had a look at the drink and tap menu and chose some drinks. My fiancé is pregnant so she got a virgin cherry lemonade, and I had one of many IPAs on tap. We also ordered the house made chips and Gorgonzola cheese sauce which came highly recommended and our server told us it was the most popular thing on the appetizer menu. When our friends arrived we all had a look at the menu after greeting one another, and we were all surprised at the delicious selections. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and burgers, pasta and salads, and a nice selection of different cuts of steak. I settled on the Wagyu burger which came with a wagyu ground beef patty cooked medium rare and topped with bulgogi and sweet and sour cucumber slices and a gojuchang aioli, and I chose a salad for my side. My fiancé chose the shorty burger. Let's start with the house made chips and Gorgonzola cheese sauce. The chips are amazing, perfectly crispy and just like lays you can't have just one. The Gorgonzola cheese sauce was very disappointing after all the hype. It was very watery and almost flavorless, but not enough to sway my 5 star review. My wagyu burger was absolutely amazing! It was cooked perfectly, and packed with more flavor than Guy Fieri's flavortown! The bulgogi was very tender and the sweet and sour cucumbers added just the right amount of tangy and sweet to balance the savory. The bun was so soft, and the aioli was a perfect accompaniment. My fiancé loved her burger so much she ate the whole thing, and she never eats the whole thing! Everyone loved their food, and the drinks are out of this world. If you don't come to eat, enjoy many drinks, and call an Uber because you won't want to stop they are that good! The service is better than any restaurant I have been to in a long time and the servers are so fun. This should go high on your list of places to try like really soon when you can enjoy patio seating(which is dog friendly) and enjoy good food and cold drinks. Don't forget to have some Carmel bacon apple fritters to finish the meal, they are so salty and sweet! A couple of things to note... No minors allowed, unfortunately. All the food is made from scratch in their little kitchen, so it's all fresh and can take a little longer to come to you. More reason to enjoy their yummy cocktails :)
