This place is for real. I got the Big Pig Sandwich, and I legitimately didn't know pulled pork could be this good. It wasn't smothered in sauce and wasn't at all dry either. The sausage was the perfect complement to the pork - enhancing the sandwich and not detracting from it. I'm used to adding sauce to sandwiches like this, both for flavor and moisture, and this sandwich needed none at all. I got Cajun tots because I will always get Cajun tots if it's an option. Fun spot to eat and watch aircraft takeoff and go to many unique places. The food is good but the price is on the more expensive side. Each dish is around 16$ so be prepared to spend a little extra.
The Pickled Pig specializes in barbecue food. You obtain the menu at the register where you also place your order, and the meals are delivered to the table of your choice. Utensils, napkins, water, and condiments are self-service. Several tables have a full view of the runway and there are also several tables outside on the open deck (no roof cover).
