I ordered the Spicy Chicken plate & the Beef Teriyaki plate. It was nothing special. I know they have good food because I did order another dish a few weeks ago and it was delicious, this time was just a little lack luster.
Exactly what I expected from a top-notch place! Best Teriyaki sauce I've found in Portland! No need to get the extra size portion unless you're *really* hungry either, and it's a great deal all around anyway.Caveat: Don't come expecting the soggy goop that you get at Chinese buffets and Safeway; this is Teriyaki the way it's supposed to be - grilled meat over rice with teriyaki sauce added at the last minute.

This is my holy grail for teriyaki.. the standard by which I judge all others. Teriyaki land is fast, delicious, and something I come back to OVER and OVER. I have moved to many cities in Oregon and Washington and I make it a point to come back here for the Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Teriyaki. Their fried rice is great, same with the yakisoba. Sometimes I even get an extra chicken bowl or fried rice for the journey home.. Also, I've never found another place that does their vegetables...read full review
