We spent a fun evening at Captain's Cabin Bar in Coos Bay. They had a live band, The Mixer Band, that played some great rock and roll, and even a bit of blues. The crowd was local and everyone seemed to be relaxed and having a good time. It's hard to beat listening to live music while playing pool, and eating pizza, with a good beer! Solid dive bar, had a great live band playing went I went. They also have slot machines, and trivia on Sundays. However, the average patron age was definitely 40+. If you're looking for a place with people in their 20's this is not it.

Just killing time getting my window replaced across the parking lot and decided to get a bite. It was delicious. I was not expecting something so tasty at a bar. I had a quesadilla and it was delicious. I was just expecting melted chesse. I received a tasty treat with grilled onion, peppers, carne asada type beef and your choice of cheese and with fries, OR or tots. Really decent hot sauce too. Rarely find that around here.
