Everything is made from old family recipes that the owner and or her husband have tweaked some. I have yet to order anything that I haven't liked. If you haven't gone and eaten here. “First of all, I love the eclectic, quirky, and vintage atmosphere. It is really welcoming and the music adds a nice touch. Secondly, the food is amazing, especially the pulled pork sandwich, gouda mac, and truffle fries. My only criticism is that there isn’t tons of seating. “Wow, do not pass this place up. We showed up at 11AM on a Sunday, and despite being full with a wait list, we found ourselves seated in less than 10 minutes. We ordered a slamwich (breakfast sandwich with French Toast), Spanish Omelette, chicken and waffles, pancakes, and a cinnamon roll to share. Not a bad dish on the table. All of our order was great. The cinnamon roll was so buttery, warm, and fresh. Also, make sure you try Gramma’s jam on your toast.Great food and great service. I can understand why there is a crown of people waiting to get in.Will definitely be back.“
“Nice place to play and spend some time with friends. There are two pool tables and as always I win hahaha. The atmosphere is pleasant and calm. There is also a mini soccer table, what I liked most about this place and the way they take care of the women since a small detail makes a difference ? I say this because in the women's bathrooms there were feminine towels available and that gives a lot to say since it is a way of saying that they help us and think of us. The service is pleasant. Free parking for 3 hours on the street. The place is very cozy and very well decorated. Does not have wheelchair accessibility“
“Everything was great, service, food etc... until today when I get notification of Elmer's charging my account multiple times for the same meal. (paid with debit) The food was good but not hundreds of dollars good. not a happy customer. Update: Went in when they opened, told there was nobody that could do anything except maybe the manager when he is in, no answer as to when he would be in, just call and check if he is there then drop what I am doing to go there. For the record this is the 3rd time this exact thing has happened to me at the Corvallis location, makes me wonder how many people don't catch double charges from them........... Update: The manager finally talked with me and said he would refund the extra charges. How ever I get a new notice of duplicate charges. He did refund me one of the charges AFTER he charged my account AGAIN.“

“Helena and the other two gentlemen made sure I was well taken care of as I watched the UFC fights. Was in town to see Arizona softball and linked up with my buddy I hadn't seen physically since 1999(he's the senior pac 12 networks producer). He was there late of course and had to pay the cover, but we both got a kick out of watching the line dancing. Had the patty melt and rings, Helena made me an Arnold Palmer, and my buddy and I had ciders. Good times, the entire staff gets kudos.“
“Old building in the middle of farm land. Kind of like going back in time a few decades. Some might call it a dive bar. However, it is clean, the food is very good and the service is warm and friendly. There is covered outside dining that puts you even closer to the surrounding farm land. I thought the long island ice tea was excellent.“
“We always enjoy McMenamins, not least because there are so many deals to be had. Especially if you have a McMenamins passport and go during happy hour. We had delicious salads (Aztec and Brewers), delicious beer (Ruby Royale and Ginger Snap Red) and pretzel nubs with yummy ale sauce cheese--all discounted to some extent. Then we played three games of free pool. Fun times!“

“I work in an office and we had an order for several Yumm bowls. We tried to run our order through GrubHub and due to an error, the order was set for pick up not delivery. After waiting a very long time I called Cafe Yumm! directly and spoke to either the manager or owner. He said GrubHub was a 3rd party service and there wasn't much they could do to change the order on their end, but that he'd be happy to run our order out to us!! He was here within 20 minutes, food in hand. We were all BLOWN AWAY by this excellent customer service, especially considering the error wasn't the fault of Cafe Yumm! The food was great as always and we will definitely order again, albeit with a different delivery service.“

Place was mostly empty on a weekday at 7:45.Rest of the space isn't fancy (seems they do lottery in the back, and the bathroom has 2 doors with twist handles and a passcode (not ideal for sanitation), but prices are modest, and its an easy walk from the hotel I stay at in Corvallis, so overall 5/5.“

“Back again finally! Great newer rooms now but a little more expensive. Rudy the owner is always nice and Made at the desk is also so helpful. It’s a great little hotel for the family on a budget and the y bar out the front that Rudy also owns has every sport you want to what in everyday. We will continue to stay here“
“Probably the best place to eat in Corvallis that I’ve been to, on my work trips. Upscale atmosphere, delicious food and drinks and service to match. Highly recommend to those looking for a higher end meal and service. The brussel sprouts with pork belly is so good I could eat it for every meal!“
