I got to say this is one of my favorite Vegan restaurants. I am not Vegan but had lunch with my friend who suggested this place. The Special Chow Mein is off the chart great tasting. You got to try this. Another dish is their Golden delight which is a vegan shrimp that is deep fried. Wow if you were not told it was vegan you would probably believe it was shrimp but that being said it was great. We order out often from this restaurant but have dined inside in the past and the service and cleanliness of restaurant holds high standards. Give a local place like this a try. Hey I'm a carnivore and I'm telling you won't be disappointed.
Drove down from WA to try it out. Used their website to check most recent hours. TWICE they've been closed in the middle of their day (12-1, not 2:30-4:30 when they're supposed to be closed) which was a GIGANTIC DISAPPOINTMENT. No signs on the door, no apologies, no Closed sign. Glad we didn't pay for parking before trying again!!!!!
Nice to have a vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant in town. Everything is made well and you can tell it’s fresh.
Friendly staff, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Can't go wrong here!
Love this place! Great traditional style Chinese food. Never have to worry about meat in my order cause this whole place is actually all vegan! I can't wait for dine-in service again at this lovely place (: thank you!
The staff is always nice, the food is delicious. This is the only all vegan Chinese food I have ever had. Worth every penny..
Absolutely incredible. Plain and simple. Honestly I think the best Chinese food I've ever had. Hot and sour soup: super tasty, just the right amount of sour, and very generous on the vegetables. Spring Rolls exactly what you'd expect, crunchy, tasty, but not too oily. Vegetable Steamed Buns squishy, freshly steamed, light in flavor but just the right kind. Can't remember the exact name of what I got and it doesn't appear on the online menu but it was called something like "long life vegetables" and it was seriously amazing. Again, not very oily, just the right amount of texture and flavor, I couldn't stop eating it. The one thing was the phone went straight to a full voicemail box, but I informed them so hopefully that will be resolved. If you're considering it, just go here!!!
Having grown up in a Taiwanese-Buddhist family, I'm very familiar with temple cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious and reminiscent of the delicious food served at many temples across Taiwan. I'm pleasantly surprised a place like this exists in Eugene!
delicious food, good portions, great consistent service
The food my boyfriend and I got here was undercooked and bland. Disappointed considering the great reviews.
All vegan Chinese restaurant ???The food is amazing and Lotus Garden is easy to get to in downtown Eugene. Everything that I have had from here was amazing and unique.I attached a pic of their COVID menu, hope it helps!Daniel Read IV
My dad and I are from California and I am a vegetarian. We called to order and got the food quickly. We ordered the steamed vegetable buns, vegetable chow mein, and the sweet and sour nugget. They were all super delicious and I honestly cannot stop thinking about how amazing the food was. We would both definitely come back here again. Even though my dad is not a vegetarian he loved it and we wish it were closer to home (it would be just about worth the whole drive to Eugene just to get this place).
This is our favorite Chinese in the area. The food is fresh, not greasy and always cooked perfectly. We love knowing that everything is vegan, making it much easier to just enjoy a really great meal.
Serving delicious vegan Chinese food that makes you think why did I ever eat meat in the first place?
My husband and I really like this place. Both of us are native Californians, so we have been blessed with having eaten lots of good Mexican and Chinese food. This place is consistently good, the sauces clean and not too oily like other Chinese places in town. Long Life vegetables and Kung Pao tofu are out 2 favorites. We're both not vegetarians, but we're a fan of their food, so that should tell you something as to why we'll pick this vegetarian place over greasy, salty meat Chinese food elsewhere.
