Okay, Sicilian girl here, who takes Italian food, pizza, calzones, garlic knots: SERIOUSLY!! I ordered a roasted garlic, sundried tomato and Italian sausage calzone; garlic knots with extra EVO, garlic and cheese well because that's what my nana always did. I've not had a calzone this AMAZING in years. Garlic knots also stellar, sooooo yummy . Thanks Mezza Luna
If you're one of those picky Italians looking for real pizza like the kind that's close to what you might get in Italy, go here. I've eaten some pies all along the West Coast and let me tell ya, Mezza is one of the best. Their hand-rolled dough, sauce and oversized thin pepps. Wauw. Don't even get me started on their classic caesar salad dressing recipe..
