The waitress made us take our own order down on paper so we had no actual waitress while every single other table did, they forgot multiple items of our food until reminded, and the food just tasted out right awful.

Sushi ya has fallen off. I used to eat here all the time but now the food is barely mediocre. Also, they are careless with filling orders. The last carry out I picked up was missing my soup and also had the completely wrong type of tempura. When I called they would not give a refund even though I do not eat fish and could not eat the shrimp tempura they gave me in place of vegetable. They claimed the owner was the only person who could issue a refund. Go elsewhere! No longer worth it and the prices are ridiculous to boot!

I've been here a few times went there recently and the wait staff couldn't even get me water. The guy with the gauges in his ears was too busy messing around with the computer but other people. At any point you could have told me it's going to be a while the computers are down but he said nothing we had no Waters just menus for over 10 minutes. I tried to get his attention or The Cook's attention but I am a heavily tattooed Latino male so they didn't want to give me

I'll cut to the chase. Their miso, a harbinger of quality, was sour, super salty, and dark brown. It wasn't fresh and the soy sauce was used to hide the sourness. Some of the worst miso I've had. The wasabi was dehydrated and stiff. I've had better at grocery delis. The sushi itself was fine. Nothing too bad, but nothing spectacular. The sheer amount of rolls offered is overwhelming. Asterisks everywhere asserting "raw fish may be bad for your health", almost as if they're hedging their bets: "our sushi may be good, or it may not."

Went in with my family for my birthday today and was overall pleased! We ordered from the kitchen and sushi and everything was amazing, I devoured several rolls in minutes and all washed down with a Kirin. The original guy working was a complete jerk and openly spoke of quitting (because it was busy) and I watched him repeatedly put down a young lady working there who never showed emotion and ended up serving us perfectly. I tipped her good and left a note saying I was sorry she had to work with a jerk. Overall it's a great place, just drop the idiot guy with earrings, the way he spoke to his fellow employee was terrible and how he arrogantly spoke to customers about everything was painful to hear. The photo says it all. A+
