I wish the gluten free deserts did not have to be dairy and egg free as well because it ends up having an artificial taste. I feel like the recipes have changed. It would be nice if some gluten free options were made with butter and eggs and if there are that many people that have egg allergies they could do separate items egg and dairy free. I've stopped going because the gluten free options tend to be less tasty. The other treats are good, from what I hear.Dietary restrictions: They do have several gluten, dairy and egg free options. Unfortunately, they combine them all and it ends up with a strange flavor and texture.

A little bummed. Online it says it closes at 10pm so my family and I drove 40 mins only to see it completely dark and closed when we arrived. Online it says open Tuesday 8am-10pm, pitch black at 9:15pm.

Great baked good but not super friendly. And it’s a small store so it’s hard if you have a group of people. They have another location but it’s not much bigger.Dietary restrictions: They have all sorts of options.Parking: It’s very difficult to find parking sometimes and it can be hard to park in general due to the way someone else parked.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome but it’s a small space.

cozy little place to pick up and eat some delish pastries and coffee! fair amount of outdoor seating here. friendly staff.had a josephine and it was a great experience. just the right amount of sweetness for both the sauce and the cream filling contained under all those satisfying, flakey layers. mmmmmm.also had some black coffee which was decent.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. From the breakfast croissants and quiches to the deserts and cheesecakes, everything here is absolutely incredible. The drinks are also amazing, their hot cocoa is extremely unique, almost truffley.

We came on a rainy Sunday morning and ordered a chai latte with oat milk, cappuccino, apple bread pudding warmed up, brownie, and two ham & Swiss croissants warmed up. The chai latte was a little too black peppery for me, and the apple bread pudding wasn't super warm to combat the cold weather, but overall, everything was good. The line was short, and the staff were efficient. We got a table under an umbrella outside (there are no inside tables).

Do not order delivery. Missing item with no replacement and unable to get refund.

Loved it! Excellent coffee, pastries, and the most incredible relaxing patio for sipping on a warm espresso.

BEST iced Americano in Eugene! Complements a beautiful, sunny day of Track and Field at Hayward. Crushed ice, no bitterness, and the right amount of caffeine. Conveniently located next to a pizza house, Mexican torta restaurant, and a gourmet ice cream shop!

Came for the choc chip cookies, became a fan of the cherry pie.Was in OR for the weekend; looked up choc chip cookies places. Most bakeries were closed so I chose Sweet Life. A guy I met in the store said their cakes and pies were off the hook, so . . . I added the cherry pie to my choc cookie/snickerdoodle order and it was as the man said. . . sweet yet tart, nicely balanced with the crumble on top, not too much crust . . .delish! Sadly i couldn't convince them to open a store near where i live in CA. . . As Arnold so eloquently said . . . "I'll be back"

Great food, great service. Very busy but they moved the line along rather quickly. They were out of the German chocolate cake I wanted. The server talked me into the vegan German chocolate cake. She was correct. It was very good.

I had Josephine - crisp pastry shell with custard inside with berry sauce on the side. Personally, I did not want the berry sauce so I just had the custard with the pastry shell. It was sooo good! It did not take more than five minutes to finish this giant custard.Despite this being a nice Saturday late afternoon, we were able to secure a table outside the shop. All the other tables were occupied. Line got long very fast inside the shop as well but it gets short very fast. Nice little spot for great desserts to get!

The little offspring of Sweet Life on Monroe in Eugene. With excellent service and a great selection, and easier parking. I love to sit outside on one of their four picnic benches and drink some tea with a sweet treat on a sunny afternoon. Perfection. This time I opted for a lime coconut petit four (small sponge layer cake, frosted with icing) which was super delicious. And a cup of tea. Love love love
