An institution. The pizza is delicious, cheap and ready when you need it. One of campus's oldest and brightest jewels. May it shine forever.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Pizza isn't cooked in the middle , still cold and doughy , disgusting. They put aluminium phosphate in the dough.

I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and olives and on half, onion and mushroom, and an hour later I got a cold pizza which I think was the leftovers from two other pizzas. One was deep dish pepperoni with olives, and a few mushrooms thrown on, and then a couple of random slices of pepperoni and olives. No onions anywhere. What is this mess? The last time I tried to order, I got a call that they were out of pepperoni and sauce. So I cancelled that order. This time, no call. Just the random leftovers of someone else’s pizzas. No call this time, and no-one answering the phone when I called over and over to ask what the heck?! I will never order from here again.

I placed an order to feed my staff at work, four pizzas. Then I found out the entire floor was joining in, so I ordered four more. Sy’s took it upon themselves to cancel the second order without even calling me, saying they thought it was a mistake. Then I had to go online and re-place the order, but decided to get two instead of four. So far, they have yet to refund me for the cancelled order and I’m still sitting here waiting for my pizza an hour and a half later. Calling them does no good, as the staff seemed they couldn’t care less. It will take a miracle for me to order from them again.

Service for Door Dash orders is sooo bad. They do not prioritize incoming orders nor work them in the order they were received. I've seen them adjust an order to wait even longer behind others that came in after that one. Conversation of the employees is inappropriate and loud while customers are in the restaurant, waiting. They do not focus on their job or their customers. If you're ordering through Door Dash, ANY other pizza place is better if you actually want to eat that night.

I live in Montana but grew up in New York. Sy's pizza is the closest I've tasted that reminds me of home. I go there everytime I'm in Eugene.
I loved the way they do the slices: there's always a cheese pizza ready, if you want to add toppings, they just put em on top of the existing slice & toss it back in the oven for a minute or so. Delish, affordable, fast. Seating was... casual at best. I'll be back

My sister and I decided to stop with our dad for lunch. (Our Dad had a couple medical appointments about an hour and a half apart.) It wasn't open on time and the guy working wasn't very friendly he wasn't ready so we had to wait to give our order, being the first customers in. He made it clear he was there by himself and clearly not happy about it. The open sign that was meant to be out front on the sidewalk was inside blocking most of the available seats so we took what seats where free and not being blocked by his sign .. about 45 minutes later the guy working asked if we could leave so other people could sit too. We did leave as he asked.. however if he would have moved his sign that was supposed to be outside there would of been more available seats .. so if you want friendly service DON'T come here!

Um, no.... And DEFINITELY not for the price, that's for sure. If anyone has had pizza by the slice at Venice Beach, this is what you would expect VB pizza to taste like.

The young woman and young man serving slices, taking money and orders rock hard. The slice? Not so much. I mean, or what? This can't be the best you can do. I could not bring myself to finish the flavorless slice of cardboard. I blame the ownership. The place is too small to lay blame on young people trying to earn a buck. Where's the sauce? Was that cheese? The dough was okay. The decor is the same as thirty years ago why not leave the pizza be the same. A philosophical conundrum.

SUCKSSSSSSS DELIVERY SUCCCCKKKKKKSSSSSSS. Louis SUCKSSSSSSSSS. called in closing Louis admitted that there was another employee that took my order and he was confused on my “extra sauce.” (Yes I asked for extra sauce). Louis suggested I cancel the order which is fine but door dash was asking me if I wanted to keep the order. The confusion is WILD. I had to explain the owner TOLD ME TO CANCEL. Meanwhile Doordash is asking if I want to wait. #MakeItMakeSense #WhichOneIsIt
