I love this place, such a hidden gem here in Forest Grove. Best Chinese food I've found in the PNW. It's takeout only, it's far from fancy, but the family that owns it is wonderful and the food is all made from scratch and is always fantastic. They also know how to do spicy right, so be prepared!
Thought we could dine in on my elderly mother's bday. But the host was sure to let us know it's take out only. But they had no utensils or anything to eat on or with. I would not go here again as their takeout does not provide you with anything to eat the food you ordered. It was a real bummer having to take an old lady to the park and eat with her fingers. Bad business. Food was good though

I am a local guide who does reviews on restaurants and I am happy to recommend Mandarin China Restaurant! They are consistently delicious, the seasoning is spot on and the meat is tender and the vegetables crispy. The portions are generous and the timing for pickup is generally right on target. Forest Grove has a real winner with Mandarin China Restaurant!!!
