“First time at Low Road Bar. Hubby had the Mega Mary and I had the crispy chicken wrap. The wrap was delicious but the fries were to die for! Nummy! Hubby loved the bloody Mary, good and spicy but not all peppery. He also said the burger on it was super tasty. Will definitely be back.“
“Another review mentioned this bar supported domestic violence, so I had to visit. Jimmy's is AWESOME!!! Everyone was just beating their spouses, it was such a pleasant time. Seriously why would she call a dive bar and not the cops? We visited had drinks and it was clean and everyone was friendly!! Thanks Jimmy!“
“Player club enjoy going there. Local bar that has a lot older adults but everyone seems very friendly. The food is pretty good. At times it does get a little loud but I guess people are just having fun. I go into the bar by myself and I feel safe. The daytime bartender is a hoot. If you ever get a chance to stop by. I think you'll enjoy it“
“One of the best dive bars in Gresham/Troutdale. Not exactly a dive bar, but definitely blue collar. Staff is great. They are attentive without being up your butt about it, and It won’t take long for them to remember you when you start coming in.Food is definitely above average, You can tell the cooks care about what they put out. The drinks are strong without being so heavy it’s not good. You feel like you are getting your moneys worth. They don’t really allow shenanigans, so it keeps it a chill place to get drinks and food, or watch sports. They do have lotto machines, for those that care:)“
“This is one of the most feasible places to eat as they have the best prices in town, so far the lowest prices in town as well as family friendly, good service, lighting is stupendous, bright and very very warning atmosphere. My top pick for a place that's affordable and family friendly and just overall great staff and environmentThanks Megan for all you areDietary restrictions: Well it all in what the customer orders it their choice how it's doneParking: Find a spot and park itKid-friendliness: They have seating for them and they are given the upmost upbeat and the first fit attention as most know kids get a bit antsy, staff help out with thatWheelchair accessibility: Nothing to say it is accessable“
“If I could give 6 stars I would. And that’s mainly how amazingly accompanying they were! We had my daughter’s 7th birthday party there after we left the trampoline park a block from there. They let us full on set up our birthday cake, table decorations and balloons. Without charging 300 like the trampoline park was for their “private bday room.”Delicious pizza! Purely a suggestion but the hummus platter needs some more veggies.. cukes, carrots… ?Service was so nice. Arcade games, lil duck machine was a hit.I just want to thank you Genos!! The gal was so above and beyond sweet on the phone. She said we even have a freezer if you need to store an ice cream cake!So rare these days to have good customer service and go the extra. We will be back to support your business!“
“We had a party on the 2nd floor. Onion Rings are awesome, and so was the Osso Buco. The meat just fell off the bone! Everything was great until we got the bill.We supplied a cake, and had to ask for plates and a cake knife & we served ourselves. The waitstaff didn't do anything except bring utensils. The bill had a $25 "Cake Fee" even though they did nothing to help. It would have been different if the fee was mentioned when booking the room, or by the waitress. But, there was no mention. Just that $25 line item on the bill. That ended the party on a bad note.“
“This is place is a lot of fun. It's one of the better bars In the Parkrose area that doesn't feel old, run down, unsafe and dirty. They have a fun karaoke night and the place feels safe and inclusive of LGBTQIA+ and all. It's fun for a friend-night out. I recommend this as one of the better bars to hang out in the Parkrose area for sure.“
“It's kind of a idk, run down joint but the people that go there are really kewl and the bartenders are very friendly. I won 200 off of a twenty in one of their machines and now they are my favorite spot! I didn't eat there so idk about the food. Go there for the atmosphere!“
“We like to go here for the seafood night on Thursday. The crab dip is great and there is plenty to share. The food portions are big and I always take home food. Fried oysters and lobster tail are our go to right now. It's a small bar with lots of video poker and some dining tables. Staff has always been attentive and willing to take drink requests.“
“Didn't eat here - instead we ordered pizzas to go. So glad we did!! It was piping hot and LOADED with toppings. The gluten free crust was delicious and appreciated. I might stop in and eat here next time since there was a game on and it was packed and seemed super fun! They had pool table and fun ambiance.“
“A co-worker told me to try this place out. We went for breakfast. Good food, variety, and plenty of options. Staff was super nice. Bit busy so it took time to get refills of coffee at the table. No problem to stop up at the bar they usually had a fresh pot or were getting one made.“
“We stopped in after a hike in the Gorge and sat at the bar. The chili was incredible. Delicious and like a savory pork sandwich without the bread! The wings were also very good. Our bartender was spunky, on top of it and fun to talk to - wish I got her name. The ambience is what you'd expect, big open space, pool tables, lots of table seating, etc.“
“The food in this place is better than it has any right to be. The cook is clearly taking pride in what they're doing. I have had the pastrami burger twice and another times it's been fantastic. This spot is a cool, chill neighborhood spot with a great menu and friendly down to earth service.“
“Great place to watch sports. The food here is subpar for Vietnamese cuisine—but their customer service is great. They offer a decent selection for tap beers, and cocktails. Video poker isn’t usually packed either so you could always find a machine to play on—or play pool/darts if you’re not into gamble.Been coming here for over 10+ years, and I have to admit that this is my go-to bar when I’m in SouthEast PDX. Will definitely continue to support this establishment for many years to come.“
“Decent place, lots of regulars. Lots of taps. Older crowd. The reserve signs that people put on the video poker machines don't have a time limit. Regulars put them on and walk away for 20 minutes. Saw some frustrated players who were waiting just get up and leave.“
“love love love the looks of this place, drinks are yummy, a lil pricey(?) im new to bar world so im not too sure but im definitely a new regular. the booths in the back are super nice to get a drink, read a book and just chill for a min. the pool tables are nice and its always clean, I think the bartender drives a miata too so thats fire ^.^“
“We play the occasional pool match out of here. The tables are decent. They've had problems with the roof leaking occasionally, and that might shut down a table or two. They do their best to get the roof fixed, but the leak seems to keep moving spots. The chinese food is great and one of my favorite places to get some. They've added a covered back patio in the last couple of years and have an older pool table out there.Parking: Parking is out front and back, with a few spots along one side of the building.“
“It's kind of a dive bar not in the best area . They serve Mexican food. Only have beer and wine no liquor . They have a pool table , juke box and I believe 7 to 10 poker machines . The poker machines did go down while I was there . I guess it was a city wide issue. I had to wait for the machines to come back on line before they would cash my ticket. It was down for over a hour so that wasn't ideal but all in all not a bad place nice staff and depending on the time nice customers. Gets more rowdy later at night.Parking: It's In the same parking lot as the liquor store and people seem to get confused on the one way directions they're are supposed to be going . So you want to pay extra close attention in this parking lot.“
“Susie has been a close friend of ours for yes. That said. She helped us have a party for my sister. Who is dieing. For her working and not being able to sit with us says more then I could say! A good bartender is not the way it should be said. Great is a better word, with heart, fire and love. BUT DONT piss her off!!! She will kick you out for the night or longer ... Love you lady. Thank you for all you do for us and everyone.“
“Bartender bartender bartender this guy and the waitresses are so consistent with great service and really funny and energized customers makes McCools one of my favorites they have outdoor patio and a huge video room w a decent amount of seating and the beer is always real “
“This place checks all the boxes!!Moving to the Gorge in the spring and I'm pretty sure this place is gonna be my new bar.Sweet pool tables, for the dwindling population who still care about such things.Food was great and the lady who prepared it was super nice and actually cared. Came out to our table and asked us how we wanted things and later to ask if everything was good. It was. Bartender was friendly and on it as well. Definitely coming back when I'm in town.Great job folks!!! Keep up the great work and thank you for all you do!!!“
“The beer was amazing, huge selection. The French dip was good, the meat was a tiny bit gristley but tasty. The chicken sandwich was very good, and while the fried coating slid off the chicken, the flavor and texture were delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very cool. It was nice that they had the basketball game sound on for part of the time we were there.“
“Until very recently this was my local bar. I'm not much of a drinker or gambler but on the rare occasion that I do, this is my spot. Bartenders are super friendly and have all gone out of their way to please. The serve the bar staples in regards to food and it's pretty good. I recently moved so I fear I won't be coming here very often any more but I'll certainly try because they always made me feel welcome.“
“I feel like I'm family at this bar. Ive met a really amazing bartender who i hope to remain friends with. Its small and has the perfect amount of people. No over crowding and just laid back. They are very protective of their guests that they keep the doors locked for safety purposes. You have to knock and get their attention to be let in. I've never had a difficult time entering this business.“
“Hops and Drops impressed us with its swift service and delicious, well-balanced dishes. The kitchen's efficiency ensures a quick turnaround from order to table. The diverse menu caters to various tastes, and our picky-eater family appreciated the spot-on accuracy of our customizations. Hops and Drops has become our go-to for a satisfying family dining experience. Highly recommended!“
“I love this place I love the portland Vibe the outdoor murals and the Bar tender is the greatest cook, and drink maker in the world. I suggest this place most definitely and the food and football. Its a great place wjere everybody know your name!“
“This is what a bar should be about, the service is super awesome, Dave is a great bartender, and the atmosphere is very old time bar feels. Food is not overpriced and you get nice and full. A lot of Portland bars are really modernized and expensive for not much, this here is a real bar.“
“Goodness, I have been coming here for over 30 years. I have to say these are the best pancakes I've seen in many years. The reason is the guy in the kitchen on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday knows how to cook them. The omelette was fantastic. Cooking great pancakes is an art form. Great job...Morning customer service is outstanding.“
“It was our first time here. If you're a sports fanatic there are games on every television. They offer poker, darts,, and sports related games like bowling and golf. We ordered a few appetizers and they were hot upon arrival at our table and definitely enough for sharing with friends.“
