“Delicious Cali burrito and their pastor is top notch. We try A LOT of Mexican food and food trucks in the Portland area and their pastor is definitely very high up on the "Best in Portland" list for sure. They are very friendly and welcoming here.“
“First time dining there yesterday and am so glad we went! The food was so good! I ordered a wet asada chimichanga and my wife ordered the asada tacos. Everything was delicious! The cucumber jalapeno margarita was phenomenal as well! Definitely one my new top favorite places to eat!“
“Can't say anything negative. My beer was cold, the chips were nice and warm, the chicken and steak fajitas were sizzling.. for at least 5 minutes. Christian was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back. Oh, the atmosphere was very authentic.P.S. I just got the bill and the price was reasonable.“
“What a great meal. We went for lunch and my wife and had the vegetarian burrito platter. It was giant! And ate the whole thing, all the food was prepared very well and it had excellent flavor. A lot of Mexican style restaurants have very bland and over cooked food. These folks prep and cook correctly, they are polite, the place is immaculate and the decor is wonderful. Try it out, I’ll be back. I forgot to take a picture.“
“Popped in for lunch and was glad I did. Wife and I had street tacos (carnitas and pastor) and couple drinks. Food is delicious and very fresh, the drinks were tasty and well balanced. Can't beat the prices if the lunch menu, definitely will be back.Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free menu items.“
“Food was amazing and reminded me of my childhood. The frijoles puerco dip was amazing (never had anything like it before). Tacos de Papa were a bit scary at the price.....but after trying them I wish I got them twice! The 2 dishes I posted......delicious, we had left overs and everything was cooked so well. It's a bit spendy at $40-$50 per person with drinks and food but so worth it. Excited to go back soon and try new dishes.“
“no doubt some of the freshest, best mexican food in the city. better than any sit down and half the price. you can grab a drink at the bar while they make your food and it is always served out quickly. great seating if you want to stay and eat outside. can't recommend it enough.“
“I've always really enjoyed eating at Tamale Boy's Portland locations. While in the area, I stopped by the Happy Valley location for the first time for dine in. I noticed a big difference in my experience here as the salsas (which are usually left out for you to bring to your table in Portland), were kept behind the counter and rationed off into three of the tiniest plastic containers. Despite this being a completely unnecessary consumption of single use plastics, I felt like I was unable to fully enjoy my meal and use the amount of salsa I want... (I promise I don't always drown my food in salsa).Considering I chose to dine in to utilize the very tasty salsas as I've done at TB's Portland locations countless of times, this was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the usual veggies for the burrito were served on the side for some reason instead of included into the wrapped burrito. A bit odd but not the end of the world.Overall, I left feeling a bit disappointed considering I've only ever had incredible experiences at their Portland locations but the food is overall pretty great and reasonably priced!“
“I’m in a rut! When I visit HV Food carts, I make a beeline to Fuego All Day (FAD). It’s the Birria Tacos with a side of House Queso and chips. The birria tacos always hit! The queso (with or without the chorizo) makes the meal complete. I’ve been to HV Food carts when FAD was closed for a catering event. Don’t get me wrong - the food’s good, but it was not the Birria tacos from FAD! The only thing missing tonight was the roasted hot pepper! Thanks for the consistently good food!“
“We LOVE Victorico's! We've always bought our food to go through the drive thru. We just live a few miles away and our food is always still hot when we get home! Everything we've tried has always been fantastic and I love Tamales and theirs our great!!! I highly recommend it!!!“
“this place is awesome!! Guilhermo is an incridible owner and the food is the best food in town. There's no way to go wrong with thier carne assada guys!! whatever you buy from here you won't regret.Kid-friendliness: every time I get my kids in, we have no complaints.“
