I absolutely love this place! Its old school German charm is hiding an absolutely perfect family dining experience similar to the affordable Supper Clubs of the Midwest! Love the feel of the “lounge” it reminds me of home maybe it’s the degenerates pouring $20’s into the Oregon Lottery machines maybe it’s just the stellar staff that’s been holing it down for the backroom regulars for longer then they want me to mention! We were welcomed warmly and brought to our table shortly after arriving. We were there around 4:30 pm on a Friday night, it wasn't busy at all. Our server was great and attentive. Our food was brought to us quickly, piping hot and delicious. They celebrated their 50th anniversary back in 2021, a classic restaurant.Parking: If you are coming from the West, it might be a challenge to get into the parking lot due to the busy intersection.

Yeah baby... if you want a good meal, Hales is one of those "must go to" places...My personal recommendations are their Biscuits and Gravy or their Denver Omelet with Hashbrowns and smothered in their "Spartan Sauce"...which is a light cheese sauce that makes the steaming hot off of the grill Omelet "pop"...The other menu items and fare are all just as good... as I have been a customer of Hales for well in excess of 40 years, you could say that I know this from personal experience...read full review
