“We had a great lunch at Sandee Thai! We ordered the Spicy Basil and Spicy Cashew Nut and Spicy Basil Fried Rice, all at 4/5 spicy. The food was served piping hot and we thought with average spice. Excellent serving size and the lunch prices are nice. We have leftovers for dinner. Yum!“

“Went their with family for my daughters 25th birthday. She wanted to try Thai food. The place was clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. Lots of options on the menu for everyone to find something they liked. The teas we delicious. We had a couple appetizers. Both were very good in the sauces that came with them. We’re also tasty. Entrée heat can go from mild to very hot. I haves the most mild heat, and it was fine. I don’t like spicy food. Food came out hot. Proportions were a good size. I had the Drunken Noodles with beef, Daughter had lamb shank. It was cool just right with meat just falling off the boat. Also tried the orange chicken it was very good. I would recommend this place and will be going back. So far it only been open a few months a would recommend supporting them if your looking for good Thoa food in Salem.“
“Later in the evening. They told me to stay warm in my car and brought me my order. The Moo Ping. There are only so many ways to perfectly prepare food. This is one of them. My only regret is forgetting to ask for a side of the tamarind sauce. My failureYou get 4 skewers!“
“The food is very good and the people are very friendly. They always serve food very fast, but it doesn't taste like fast food. Yes, and something we don't like is changed with a smile.I really love this place! The staff is so kind and the food is always quick to be served. The food tastes fresh, it doesn't taste like fast food. They always check in to make sure everything is good. If there is anything wrong they go above and beyond to fix it!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and they always modify the menu to accommodate me. I am gluten-free and they always modify menu for me, it is sooo greatly appreciated!“
“My friend and I came here tonight for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Met the owner who was bubbly, sweet, and eager to help. We ordered our food, I got a passion fruit boba, shrimp salad rolls, and coconut shrimp. My friend got drunken chicken with chicken. Our food took awhile to make, but we weren’t in a rush! Each item came our fresh and extremely tasty! Mina offered boxes and we gladly took our food. She told me what to do in case my salad rolls dried out and helped individually wrap each roll.Prices were great for the area, quality of food, and amount of food. We were the only diners sitting inside the establishment which honestly shocks me. There was one pick up order and one drive through order, but not many customers. I’m hoping that 7:00pm on a Tuesday is normally slow, cause there’s no reason she shouldn’t be more busy! The music was catchy, the dining room was festive and inviting, and the wonderful fresh smells from the kitchen make me want to eat everything she can make!! Can’t wait to come back again :)“
“WONDERFUL!! The dining area is in the back so you're not bothered by customers coming in and out and picking up their Togo orders. Also their level of a 10 for spiciness is spot on. Usually it's never spicy enough and this was on fire with excellent flavor!! Very fresh and I just really was impressed!! I love Asian food!!“
“This has been one of our go-to Thai restaurants in town since they opened at their old location. While the new location is very different from the old location, the food is still quite good, and the new location is still comfortable and pleasant. This is among the best Thai food in the area - though they're really reluctant to make a dish very spicy/hot. Food is always fresh and well prepared. I tend towards the curries, which are all great - the braised lamb Mussaman Curry is really excellent - though no matter how much I insist I actually want mine spicy, I end up having to add my own spice in the form of chili flakes/oil -- which they provide willingly.I love Thai iced tea - I know it's not "authentic", but it's delicious - and they make a great Thai iced tea. Their salad rolls are awesome, and I usually sneak some bites of chicken Satay from my kids. My wife loves their Pad Thai.Service has been solid. The staff is efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. Food comes out of the kitchen with relative speed, and is very consistent from visit to visit.Overall, despite my preference for the old location, this is still a great Thai restaurant, and well worth a try if you're in the mood.Parking: Street parking is a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes we end up having to park several blocks away and walk. Most of the close spots are pay spots during the day, but are often free during the weekends/evenings, so we usually don't end up having to pay. The old location was adjacent to the Chemeketa Parkade, which was a lot more convenient.Kid-friendliness: My kids are somewhat adventurous eaters, but tend to stick to things that are similar to stereotypical "kid food". If you have picky eaters, I'd recommend getting them rice and chicken satay. They also serve a fairly unthreatening orange chicken as well if your kids are into that. Once you've gotten them used to the idea of Thai food, trying some salad rolls, and maybe a mild curry will be an easier sell.“
“Fire pad Thai and dumplings! Haven’t had pad Thai this good in a while and I try and eat Thai often. Very authentic & clean dishes, didn’t feel overly oily or unhealthy by any means. Would love to try more of their entrees but unfortunately we’re just passing through. Hope this place makes a legit store front in their future !“
“This has become one of our spots to eat when we are in south Salem. Never had a bad meal, only once did we get a meal that wasn’t exactly correct. Avocados were missing from an avocado curry - hence the drop in star for food. Service is good. A LOT of takeout at this place. For every one dine in we probably saw two or three times the number of takeout’s.Parking: At night there is a lot of parking, during the day it can be more difficult to find as other daytime business’ are sharing the same lot.“
“Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are the best here in this snoozeville of a town. It came with fresh bean sprouts and lime. The portions were for adults, not for infants. I would recommend them over any other place. Just be careful, the prices on their website are a lot lower than what you actually paid. Prices can change with notice.“
