I've been here several times for the well curated tap list. I sit, read, and people watch. I get a definite "local watering hole" vide. And then today Tiffany suggested combining a beer favorite (Hot Blonde) with a cider. Soooo good. Get up, head out, and visit.
Nice place. Nice atmosphere. The bar tender could have been more aware and at the bar. Just went in for a drink with friends, and was basically ignored until I stood at the bar for a while.

After an early evening walk, I stopped at the Slake House to enjoy a refreshing cider. Tiffany and her husband, Richard, were most welcoming and kind and made me feel right at home. After a couple glasses of cider in the perfect night air, it was, unfortunately, time to go. This is a great place to go to unwind with its wide selection of beer and cider. I highly recommend it.
