Hilltop Bar & Grill

I was looking for a good seafood restaurant in Eugene and thought Cioppino House sounded good. Showed up to find they were booked - but they suggested the place next door. Hilltop Bar & Grill. Granted, this didn't sound all that exciting, given neither of us are bar flies. Checked their menu and wow - fried brussel sprouts. We were in. Food was great for a Friday Nite snack meal. I had the cod tacos, friends had the pork and apple, and the blue cheese burger, additionally each had a side salad or French fries. Fries were. great, nice cooked and not greasy at all. they tasted more baked than deep fat fried. We all agreed our food was very tasty. Not too much that we were over-stuffed. Really great food, great bar, great atmosphere, a most favorite go to for us. They make an excellent burger, hubby loves the beer, but they also make excellent mixed drinks, and all the food we have had there has been excellent, highly recommend.
