I noticed Conin on a walk as I live in neighborhood. Today was the day to order pick up. I called in after reading all the great reviews. They sell their own salsa which was mentioned throughout the reviews. Also ordered the chicken burrito and guacamole. Everything is delicious! They even threw in some chips! My boyfriend always gives me grief for declaring that certain Mexican food may be very good, but totally inauthentic. I really don't want to sounds like a snob! My step dad raised me for part of my childhood in Morelia and he always cooked delicious Mexican recipes from Abuela for us growing up at home. Tex mex is good, but this aint it. Closed, temporarily? I really wanted to order from Conin today - so much so that even though the online ordering wasn't the full menus and the telephone number didn't work, I still went there to try to order in person. But it was closed (5:30 pm) and looks under renovation. Just a heads up! Hopefully they will re-open.
