I have been in love with the Meatball Banh Mi for years. It is the perfect blend of crunch and a little spice, and the bread is always delicious. I recently started selling it to my coworkers, and one ordered the Cubano. She had me try it and now that might be my new favorite. Smoky, delicious combo of flavors!! We got lunch here and there was almost no wait. I went with the pho'rench dip and have to say this sandwich is a masterpiece. I'm not a fan of fusion food usually but they did it so well with this sandwich. The bread is perfect and the ratio of meat to fresh veggies (basil and fresh beans sprouts) to bread was just right. Lardo is reliable when you have friends and family visiting. Their menu accommodates all taste buds and it's a good location to Powells books and shopping areas. Their ordering system is efficient.
