My friends and I decided to check this place out when we were in Portland last year. We came in the morning on a weekday so it was pretty quiet. They have a variety of waffles from sweet to savory. I ended up trying the Dulnator - seasonal waffle with sausage patty, cheese and grilled bell peppers. First bite and I loved it! This place is an institution. If I had anything bad to say about waffle window it's just be that they ruined basically any other kind of waffles for me. They're crisp yet soft and their toppings are great. Staff is always nice and holy crap the fried chicken and waffles is great.
Mainly my daughter likes this place. Tasty food, but the portions are a little small for me. Great variety for both the sweet and savory preferences. Parking can be a challenge when they are busy, but because of Covid-19 and no dine-in, everyone is taking to go.
