“After reading quite a few reviews, and seeing one other Thai place in town was closed for now, I thought to give this place a try. We drove there for dinner, so it was dark out. The parking lot as we approached was so dark, we almost missed the turn into the lot. It didn't seem like a single lot light was on. Thankfully, the restaurant has a large bright sign to act as a lighthouse.Upon entering, the lady in the back was very friendly, and said to sit wherever. I believe she was the owner based on other photo's I've seen. The place was decorated, and not plain walls like you find at some strip mall asian restaurants. So it was a nice change of pace. I thought it odd that the menu was under a glass cover on the table. But I suppose that makes it easier for the staff, both in not needing to bring menus to and from, or keep them clean, but with the glass, cleanup is easier. There is a large assortment of Chinese and Thai items on the menu. Which gives you plenty to chose from. I ordered Combo #7, and my friend had the Pad Thai. He LOVES spicy, and when the waiter said they season on the hot side, he picked 4 (from 1 to 5), and he said it was plenty spicy. He usually likes things 'Thai Hot' or 5. So this says something. His only complaint was the ratio of chicken to noodle. But he confessed that Pad Thai is a noodle dish, and the chicken is an adder. He enjoyed his plate. My plate was the Combo #7 with breaded white meat chicken pieces, fried shrimp, a spring roll and fried rice. The chicken comes with this pink sauce, which in my opinion is akin to a fry sauce. Nothing overly asian about it, but it wasn't bad. The chicken to my enjoyment was cooked well. It was juicy, and tender, and was real chicken meat, and not pulverized chicken like a nugget. The breading wasn't overbearing, just enough. Same with the shrimp. The spring roll was pretty basic. Not a lot of flavor, but wasn't bad. The fried rice is I think my only real complaint, but this goes on par with the rest of my dish. When I get a fried rice, I'm expecting color to show how much spice and seasoning has been added. This was basically white rice that was fried a little with a few added veggies. The rice was cooked well. Not dry, or overdone, and not undercooked or stiff. That said, I wish they added much more ginger, or garlic, onion powder... something. It wasn't bad... just not special.Overall that was my experience. The food was good, but average. Not bad, just middle of the road. If you wanted to introduce someone to asian, this would be a good place to start before stepping them up to the heavily seasoned locations.I might try them again, and try a different dish. Maybe it was just what I ordered. As I said... there is a lot to chose from. Maybe their chef is better at other dishes.Otherwise, the Jasmin tea was great, the staff was very friendly, and it was a nice place.Parking: Strip Mall parking.... a lot of spots. But at night... pitch black.Kid-friendliness: The MarFar Chicken doesn't have any sauce on it, as the sauce is on the side. So, it's basically nuggets if your kids don't like anything "weird" like my boys.“

“Well, for me, this place is very relaxed and laid back. As in, come as you are, all are welcome here. It's got a very diversified atmosphere. My opinion of this restaurant may be considered biased as I've been coming here since they opened, for many, many years. The food is very good, and the owner and her family are amazing. They continuously go out of the way to help my elderly father, who had also been coming here since they opened. So see, for me, it means family and it's great!!! My father can be very opinionated and hard-headed, stuck in his ways, as you may say, and they still treat him very well. Oh yeah, and the prices are actually fairly low for the amount of food that you get, which is always 2 meals for me. Or, maybe just a late night snack or something. I have never been able to finish it in one sitting. So if you're looking for some real good food and laid back (no dress code), place to enjoy a meal, I recommend this place! I think everyone should try it at least once, cause they'll make this one of their faves!! Oh, and for entertainment, they also have a little Oregon lottery room! If that's your thing........ Enjoy!!! I've had almost everything there at one time or another (except anything with fish or anything that's fishy like, because I do not like fish. But that's just me.) ?“

“Christmas of 2022, we went to a different place that had very high ratings as well as personal recommendations. It was a mistake. Last Christmas, we came here instead. When we had a family emergency a couple of months later, and once again gathered from California and Texas, we chose Chen's again, got the same outstanding server, and had the wonderful food again!“

“Kowloon Chinese has always been a pretty good pick for Chinese in Roseburg. I've been here since I was a kid. Their Mar Far chicken is so good and crunchy, I love it. They have pretty good pan fried noodles on most days. Just don't order the chow mein thinking it'll be anything less than a weird vegetable dish that makes me wanna say; Yuk! Their classic chefs special is my favorite order. Pan fried noodles, rice and Mar Far. Yum!“

“I don't usually take the time to post reviews these days, but was especially impressed with the service recently.I placed an order of 24 plates to go on Super Bowl Sunday. In past years, the large orders seemed to have overwhelmed the workers a bit, but they were totally on top of it. They had the food ready and bagged early, and we're very helpful from the moment we walked in. Heard 0 complaints about food from a predominantly Middle School aged crowd, which is slightly miraculous. I have purchased Panda at this particular location on many occasions with very few, minor issues. I'm glad to have the great service and quality that we do at our local Panda.P.S. If you haven't tried honey sesame chicken, you are missing out.“
