My parents, my wife and I had lunch there a couple days ago and it was spectacular. I was a little nervous after reading over the negative reviews of people stating that the food or meat was dried out. We tried 4 different meals with 4 different meats & did not find that to be the case with any of their food. Leading me to believe that their reviews were agenda driven. Whatever the case, the food was wonderful.

The best food in Salem! I've eaten here a few times, and at the main Adam's downtown, and I've never had a bad meal. It's obvious the only bad reviews came from haters who love mask mandates, and wouldn't know good food if their lives depended on it. Pay them no mind; they have no taste. The BEST hush puppies, and I lived in the south! Keep up the good work!

Tried the tri-tip last week and this week we got a rack of pork ribs (I think? They were gobbled up so fast so I will assume they were delicious). I ordered the low carb meal with brisket. The meal was plentiful with meat, bell peppers, onions and zucchini. Definitely my go-to from now on. I'll try the ham next. The only thing disappointing is the size if the sides. A full rack of ribs came with two tiny sides. The sides should be double the size that is given! That being said, we don't go for the sides, we go for the meat. Even ordered brisket, ham and tri-tip for Christmas Eve dinner pickup! Can't wait.

My husband and I have been regulars here since this store opened. But last time I visited, not one store employee was wearing a face mask. Not the cashier, not the cooks, no one. If it's more important to them to defy authority than to protect their customers, I guess they don't need my business. Sadly, we won't be going back, ever.

I was excited to try this place but I left extremely disappointed. I got the two meat plate with pork ribs and ham alongside mac & cheese, hush puppies, and a corn muffin. The ribs and muffin were cold. The mac was just ok. The ham was really the only thing I would say was good. On top of that, the silverware sat in buckets that looked like they were rarely cleaned and the sauces at the table had fruit flies flying around the open tops. Also, none of the staff was wearing masks which I might’ve overlooked if the food was good but it wasn’t.

The food was good, the staff was very nice and helpful. The food was very good. We got the family meal and it was a ton of food for the price. The bathroom was dirty and just kinda gross. And the dinning room had crumbs on the floor and the tables were not supper clean.

Staff was friendly the place was really clean. The sides well definitely not impressed with the Mac and cheese or the fries. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and when I got home there was no bun just the pulled pork. I was very excited to try this place but honestly I can't say I'll go back I expected more from a place that just does smoked meats. Honestly not much flavor that's the only thing missing really.

I have heard about this place for a minute now and I was so excited to try it. My daughter had a kids burger that tasted like a greesy garlic and onion patty. My husband and I had ribs (dry) mac and cheese (mush) with hush puppies (the worst) . Let me just say it all tasted the same old stale greesy smoke. Nothing about this meal was good. Both my husband and I agree we would never go back.

SO DISAPPOINTED in the owner's "personal choice" to rebel and "choose" not to wear masks! Though we enjoy BBQ this changes our opinion of Adam's Rib. We can find lots of other places to eat where the staff are choosing to comply out of respect for others. Won't bother with these guys again."And every man did what was right in his own eyes".

I don’t even wanna give this a one star. It s was so horrible the brisket was old and it very cook dry. I’m pregnant on top of it made me sick after I ate it. Mac and cheese the worst. Oh and to top it off they don’t t wear masks at all not one person that works there. This is a disgrace to pregnant women risking us. I hate this place and will never go back it was dirty also place needs a good cleaning can’t believe they pass the health inspection! Then to read the other reviews and how the owner says the same things over and over but her place should be shut down. They aren’t changing anything there food is just bad and she isn’t going to change it.

Great choices of sauces, to top off nicely bbq'd ribs, brisket, and the like. Choices of sides along with a corn muffin. Great staff, very hospitable, pretty busy gang.

The Lurchness Monster !!

A friend of mine took me here after I drove him to his appointment(because I'm a good friend, lol)& he had recently ate there & said he had to go back again. I got a Steak Sandwich(it's advertised as a Burger but looks more like a sammich to me)I don't recall the exact name but it was tender, juicy & delicious. My friend ordered a pull pork sandwich & gave the same review as I did mine. They have their own line of BBQ sauces which all taste great & you can even buy some to take home. I will definitely return to Adam's Rib Smokehouse in the near future. 5/5!!

While I am all for choice, there currently exists a mask mandate and although this restaurant chooses not to mask while preparing food, I'm sure they must have passed a food handlers certification. So it's not acceptable to breathe over the food that sits in a buffet style set up, nor stick your bare fingers inside the to-go dishes then load food into said contaminated dishes. Neither of their employees washed their hands before proceeding to help serve up our order, nor did they wear gloves. Now the food...it was over-cooked and very greasy. We so wanted some good BBQ that day. Looks like we won't be coming back. Very disappointed. This food left all of us with upset digestive systems. The owners response contradicts our experience.

Excellent service and the ribs are spectacular

If Gordon Ramsey walked into this restaurant, he'd ask if anyone even tasted the food before serving it. I now understand why this place has 3 starts. The price we paid for our food did not reflect the quality of service or food that is expected when paying $40 for BBQ. This place serves food cafeteria style, but charges like they are cooking it all fresh right there. The piquito beans were so gritty, like someone dumped a whole bag of brown sugar in with the beans. The Mac was borderline plastic tasting, I'd rather have Kraft Mac n cheese. The pulled pork was so dry I was basically eating BBQ sauce with a side of pulled pork due to how much sauce I had to use. I do not recommend eating here if good BBQ is what you're looking for. Very disappointed.
