Baja Fresh has always delivered on high quality Mexican food. Their burritos are delicious, and their hand made guacamole is second to none.
Great food here! All food came out hot and people were friendly.
I ordered steak fajitas and they came out cold... I told them that my food was cold and they "remade" it for me and it was also cold. It seemed like they were just not cooking the food all the way. Fajitas are supposed to come out sizzling. They made me feel alienated for returning my food even though I was nice about it. I dont have money to throw away and I was hungry and excited to have fajitas.
Excellent Service and food is consistent even when ordering for delivery. It is literally the only place that's gotten our order correct each and every time. My last pick up order was good. The cashier was so friendly and had a wonderful attitude despite having to work through covid.
Best-Fresh and YUMMY! My favorite is the chicken burrito, Mexicano Style!
This place is not your typical Taco Bell or Del Taco. They actually have a little bit of soul in their food. You will also recognize the fact that their ingredients are actually real. The other Places You'll Go to , you just kind of got to guess if it's real or not. I think the only thing that I'm a little disappointed in is the original tacos. They're charging $4 for a little tiny tortilla with a little tiny bit of meat. Those tacos are not worth more than about 50 cents in my opinion. Stick to the burritos or the bowls, those items are still not very big, but they do have real ingredients and tastes pretty good.
Edit: So on top of the rest. I check my bank account and they charged me TWICE for my order I never received, and they never made. And it's not a pending transaction either. Pathetic.Says they close at 10pm. Ordered online at 7pm. Money was taken from my account. Order was processed. Then I received a call stating that they close at 7pm. This was on a Friday. If your closed, I should not be able to place an order...
Went for dinner. I ordered a enchilada style burrito and my wife had a chicken tostada. We split a shrimp quesadilla and an order of con queso. When we ordered the counter person was blunt and rude and apparently couldn't hear either of us. We had a hard time understanding her as she spoke very fast and not very loud. When we got our to-go order we asked for mango salsa. Instead of a polite "we are out" or something similar we got "we dont have any" very rudely and very blunt. It was obvious she didnt like her job.As our order was being made she was laughing and talking like a very happy person, but not when she was at the counter. We got home and opened our food. Mine was absolutely nothing like the example shown on their site, and neither was my wife's. Mine tasted burnt and bitter, hers was full of romaine and some dark greens but the example looked like iceberg lettuce. The chips and con queso were good (bland chips) and the shrimp quesadilla was good, but the rest of our dinner went in the trash. Not very impressed. It used to be good.
This place has gone down hill. I have ordered the steak burrito in the past and this is what I experienced most of the time : some of the pieces of steak would turn out to be chewy and just not edible by my standards. I would basically not eat the chewy pieces and enjoy the rest of my burrito - which was satisfying. This last time : ALL of the steak was chewy and just not edible. No matter how much I chewed , the steak would not break apart. I ended up spitting out the steak and just ate the beans and rice. So basically I paid for a $10 dollar bean and rice burrito. Thanks Baja Fresh!I if you're going to charge ten bucks for a burrito make sure as hell your meat is edible. I've had better quality steak from tacos at a lunch truck.
Best experience. Gf burrito fell apart. Was going to just eat with fork the manager took care of it and wasn't asked to do so.
So disappointed lately. My husband and I along with my adult kids have went to this Baja Fresh on Lancaster for years. The last 6 months I don't know what is going on there. Before the pandemic, we went there and it has started to look so dirty and the staff was not friendly. Since the pandemic we have got food ordered twice. The first time, part of our food was forgotten. The employees seem so stressed and unorganized. Today I went to pick up food I ordered on the phone. I was first hung up on, then called back. It was not clear where people were supposed to pick up food or if they were supposed to wait in line with the walk in customers that were ordering. I stood in line over 30 minutes while my food sat on the counter for almost all of that time. The lady at the counter was rude and would step away from the cash register, not washing her hands, bag up orders while a large line was waiting. I am not sure if my family will return due to the last 3 times it has been so disappointing. Hopefully, they will listen to the reviews on here and make positive changes.
Did you know Baja Fresh on Lancaster is locally owned and taking to go orders? I enjoyed the chicken taco and chips. I loved how crispy both were!
Great food but online prices don't match in-store. I ordered off the catering menu and got a bill that was $50+ more than what it was when I tried to place the order online (food cost only). They also missed both of the salads that we had ordered and paid for. Manager was apologetic and refunded me back $60 and explained to me that it must be an old menu.
delicious!! I had a burrito bowl and i love all of the options they have. The food is always so fresh. I wish my food was slightly warmer.
