As a former barista, I judge a coffee shop by their Carmel macchiato. Brotherhood coffee has my vote!! Delicious, not too sweet, balanced drink.I also love that they have Dough Hook donuts as it’s hard for me to get over there too often, now I have a option that is super close!
So, I’m pretty bummed!!!! I heard awesome things about the tamales, so I stopped by this morning and got one chicken and one pork and the chicken tamale was undercooked, the masa was still raw, and the chicken tamale was mush and chicken a bit tough and dry, the pork tamale was flavorful but more masa than pork. I plan on giving them another try a different day, maybe today was just a bad day for them. I also plan on coming back for the coffee as well to give that a try!

I feel like most people aren’t aware that this coffee shop is here, but it’s a great one to stop by! Good drinks and food, friendly and quick service. Definitely worth stopping by. (They also have tamales which is something that most coffee stands don’t offer!)
